Bargain Hunter grabs the epic Morrisons yellow sticker haul with treats from 15p

A FOOD fan has shared his huge haul of reduced treats, leaving many with their mouths open.

So if you've got a sweet tooth and fancy grabbing some bargains, listen up (and then sprint to the nearest Morrisons).

One savvy shopper was left stunned when he browsed the shelves of their local Morrisons to see a variety of sweet treats, including custard tarts, cakes and biscuits, had been cut away.

The anonymous person then took to social media to warn other shoppers, leaving many baffled.

Post on Yellow Sticker Societya private Facebook group with a whopping 202,500 members, the shopper shared photos of their loot and wrote: “I think the large chocolate cake was the bargain of the day.”

Thanks to items with yellow stickers in Morrisons, this lucky shopper was able to bag a huge amount of cheap purchases, including a pack of two cream, strawberry and custard tarts.

While the strawberry tarts originally cost £2.09 per pack, this customer was able to buy the treats for just 32p, saving £1.77.

Not only this, but the customer was particularly impressed with the large chocolate sponge cake with fresh cream, from Morrisons' 'Cake Shop'.

The chocolate cake once cost £5.10 but had since been reduced to just 77p, saving a whopping £4.33.

Not only this, but if you're a fan of biscuits you'll be shocked by this discount, as this shopper picked up a pack of white chocolate biscuits, which once cost £1.29 but have since been reduced to just 20p. with a saving of €1.09.

And if that wasn't enough, the Morrisons shopper also managed to get his hands on a pack of caramel topped yum yums, which once cost £1 but were then marked down to just 15p, making this shopper even more 85 cents left.

In total, this load of goodies cost this Morrisons lover just £1.44.

This customer not only left with a bag of cheap treats, but he also saved a whopping €8.04.

Many were clearly very impressed with the post, as shoppers were quick to express this in the comments.

One person said: “Right place, right time.. fantastic.”

Another added: “B****r the diabetes I would scoff so much.”

A third commented: “My kind of bargain!”

While someone else wrote: “I'm coming, I have a sweet tooth. Well done.”

At the same time, another bargain hunter explained: “I love getting the Morrisons bargains, especially the chocolate sponge cake and fresh lemon/cherry/vanilla muffins!”
