’22 Kids and Counting at Christmas is on Channel 5 on Sunday 17 December at 8pm!’

Earlier this week, Sue had already prepared for the holidays when she previewed her family’s elaborate Christmas decorations despite a bout of illness.

She shared a glimpse of the lavish look, which included parts of the dining and living room, via her Instagram Stories.

Despite explaining that she ‘broke a rib’ after a bout of ‘painful’ coughing, the mum seemed determined to kick off the festive mood in style, even as she admitted she had ‘never felt so bad’.

In the snaps, fans were treated to views of intricately decorated Christmas trees, as well as a shelf packed with countless stockings.

And despite the lavish decor, the reality star insisted she would have had more in store if she hadn’t been feeling bad.

In a video, Sue, 48, also showed off an array of advent calendars ready for the children to open, cake pops and a red bucket of Christmas chocolate.

Taking to her page, she wrote: ‘Accurate representation of how my Monday morning went.

‘I’m also pretty sure I’ve broken a rib from all the coughing I’ve been doing over the last three weeks, so that’s quite painful.

And although the disease initially threatened to scupper her festive plans, the mother was grateful that the disease finally started to subside.

“Thankfully my cough is getting much better,” she continued. “It’s been an exhausting three weeks, I’ve never felt so bad.”

Even then, the influencer planned to take it easy while she recovered.

She added: ‘Usually I’m so busy putting up my Christmas decorations, but because I’m feeling so bad we just put up the tree in the dining room.

“We plan to put up the rest of the decorations today, which the kids are really excited about.”

A few hours later, Sue unveiled another set of decorations, before exclaiming: “Christmas has arrived.”

The vlogger customized each of the two Christmas trees to match the color theme of the room.

Starting in the dining room, the medium-sized tree displayed nude and pastel tones, brought to life by gold electric lights.

The theme worked in tandem with the neatly decorated dining area, which had a brown and nude color scheme.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Sue has stepped things up a notch by installing a much larger tree, littered with various trinkets.

From candy canes to plaid bows and enormous baubles, the tree made for quite a spectacle, but it paled in comparison to the mantelpiece.

To the left of the tree was an overflowing shelf full of tinsel, lights and countless stockings.

Perhaps the mother hung 22 stockings, one for each member of the famous family.
