SAINSBURY’S has launched a delicious new sweet treat just in time for Easter.
Shoppers are rushing to get their hands on a pack of hot cross buns with the new flavor before it’s too late.
Facebook group Newfoodsuk announced the sandwiches had hit shelves, and foodies rushed to the comments section to rave about the product.
The message read: “New Hot Cross Buns with cinnamon and brown sugar spotted at Sainsbury’s.”
One person loved the idea, writing, “These sound great!”, and another agreed, saying, “Now these would be Nice!!”
A third confirmed: “I’ve had them, they’re really nice.”

“I have to try this one,” wrote a fourth.
The launch comes after M&S also released a new flavor of hot cross bun.
Sweet treat lovers have flocked to social media to share their joy over the release of the new product.
The new Extremely Caramely hot cross buns with pieces of salted caramel fudge are perfect for those with a sweet tooth.
They’ll hit the shelves just in time for Easter on February 28, but a lucky few have already tried them as they went on sale at Corby Foodhall today for just £3.50 for two packs.
The announcement of the new flavor has been widely praised by Facebook users.
One wrote: “We have to try these,” while another agreed, saying: “Omg how good they look, I have to try!”
A third even went so far as to write: “The only hot cross buns I eat.”
And a fourth thought: “to try with a cup of tea.”
The caramel buns are just the latest new flavor of hot cross bun that M&S has launched.
