Nick Cannon spends $200,000 a year taking kids to Disneyland

Nick Cannon shells out a hefty amount of cash to take his entire family to Disneyland every year.

“Do you know how much money I spend at Disneyland a year?” Cannon, 43, wondered on the Friday, December 1 episode The breakfast club radio show for Power 105.1, for which host Charlemagne is God replied, “A lot.”

Before Cannon confessed how much he spends, he explained that he hosted the iconic Christmas morning parade at the theme park from 2009 to 2019. While working for the company, he received a range of “perks”, including free admission to the parks for himself and his family – which at the time only included his twins Moroccan and Monroe, 12, who he shares with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.

“It’s not free anymore and I only had two children at the time,” he joked. “Every birthday and Christmas I’m literally at Disneyland at least once a month and to travel around Disney I probably spend $200,000 a year at Disneyland.”

Cannon noted that in addition to theme park tickets, he also pays for an attendant, hotel rooms and other extras.

“Disneyland is already expensive [the] great if you try to stay at the hotel,” he explained, noting that the theme park has changed a lot over the years. “It’s not how it used to be anymore. You have to make a reservation.”

When it was suggested that Cannon should invest in a “membership” to the park, he responded, “I used to be an employee!”

“I’m like, ‘Mickey, can you make an appointment? Can I get my job back?” Cannon joked. “That’s a job I need back.”

Cannon is the father of twelve children. In addition to Moroccans and Monroe, he shares sons Golden Sagon, 6, and Rise Messiah, 14 months, and daughter Powerful Queen, 2, with Brittany Belldaughter Beautiful Zeppelin, 12 months, and twins Zion and Zillion, 2, with Abby De La Rosa. He also shares daughter Onyx, 14 months, with LaNisha Cole and son Legendary Love, 17 months, with Bre Tiesi. Cannon and Alyssa Scott welcomed daughter Halo Marie, now 11 months, in December 2022. Their late son, Zen, died of cancer in December 2021 at 5 months old.

As the holidays approach, Cannon shared that he plans to spend time with all of his little ones at Christmas.

“Saint Nick will be in any chimney I could possibly be in,” he said Entertainment tonight on Saturday, November 25. “It’s all about the kids, so you’ll definitely see us doing fun, over-the-top things over the next 30 days.”
