Nottingham knifeman Valdo Calocane's housemates branded him 'serial killer' – as video shows him clutching one
NOTTINGHAM triple murderer Valdo Calocane was kicked out of the university halls for attacking a housemate – just because he asked him to clean up.

Pals told how violence broke out when he was an adult Student Calocane snapped when asked to collect the dirty laundry from the apartment.
The clip shows panicked Chris begging roommates to “call the police” and shouting “Valdo, get off me” during the attack at Rayleigh Park halls in March 2022.
Officers arrived on the scene and escorted Calocane away – before university officials insisted he not face charges.
Instead, the potential murderer was offered mentally health support to enable him to be the last to complete his mechanical engineering degree summer.
Calocane now faces a life sentence after pleading guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
Prosecutors today accepted his plea – meaning Calocane will not stand trial for murder.
The triple murderer also admitted attempted murder from Sharon Miller, Marcin Gawronski and Wayne Birkett, who were injured when they were hit by a van.
Now it can be revealed that Calocane allegedly had a “deep hatred” of students, which ended in tragedy with the death of Barnaby Webber And Grace Kumarboth 19.
Van driver Ian Coates65, was also killed.
A source said: “Everyone in the flat knew Valdo wasn't right. They called him 'serial killer'.
“It sounds so cruel, but the others all were Nice guys. They really made an effort to get to know him.

“They did all the cleaning and tidying and he just rejected all their friendship offers.
“There was something about him that just wasn't right. He barely talked – and when he did, he was aggressive and actually quite terrifying.
“It sounds petty, but he never did any housework or cleaning and that drove the others crazy. He was obviously very smart, but that didn't stop him from doing his part.”
The source added: “On the night of the attack, Chris snapped because Valdo refused to do any work.
“He was shouting at him to pick up his dirty things from the floor in the communal area.
“He just jumped on Chris and put him in a headlock. He was clearly so angry that it seemed like he was ready to never let go.
“One of the others filmed it because they needed proof to show what he was like. They had tried to tell the university that Valdo needed help.”
After the attack, university bosses were convinced Police no fees were charged.
Valdo was given instead mental health support from the university and was told to leave the apartment building.
It is believed he was given accommodation elsewhere before moving into the raided house on Ilkeston Road after completing his studies.
The police should have accused him of something
The source said: “Chris was stunned when the university allowed Valdo to complete his studies.
'Normally you're stripped of your honor for something like that.
“And maybe the police should have charged him with something.
“Maybe if they had taken those first signs of violence seriously, he might have been on their radar.
“Perhaps these three tragic deaths could have been prevented.”
