Dutch version of Omid Scobie book claims ‘heartless’ William denied Harry chance to fly to Queen’s deathbed because he was ‘still angry’ about bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey

The Dutch version of Omid Scobie’s book, Endgame, claims that Prince William denied Harry the chance to fly with the royal family to Balmoral to see the Queen before she died.

The Prince of Wales also called that particular version “heartless,” but that term does not appear in the British edition.

The Dutch version also claimed that William was ‘still angry’ with Harry over the Sussexes’ Oprah interview in 2021, according to The sun.

The chapter tells of the hours before the Monarch died last September, including how members of the Firm rushed to Balmoral to see her.

Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh traveled north on a plane.

Kate appeared to be staying in Windsor when she was photographed picking up her children in England later that day.

However, Prince Harry went there on his own and later claimed he was not invited to the trip.

The Dutch version of Endgame has since had to be pulverized after it was named King Charles III and Kate Middleton because the royal family allegedly made comments about the skin color of Harry and Meghan’s son Archie before he was born.

He flew to Scotland alone – and by the time he arrived at Balmoral, the Queen had sadly passed away at the age of 96.

The royal told host Anderson Cooper that he had texted his brother to see how he and Kate would get to the estate, but was never given the flight details.

“I asked my brother – I said, ‘What are your plans? How are you and Kate going there?’ he remembered.

“And then, a few hours later, all the relatives who lived in the Windsor and Ascot area jumped on a plane together, a plane with twelve, fourteen, maybe sixteen seats.”

“You weren’t invited on that plane?” Anderson asked him, to which Harry replied, “I wasn’t invited.”

Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, is said to have wanted to invite the Sussexes but decided against it to avoid clashes on his big day amid rising tensions between the royals following the release of Omid Scobie’s new book.

He chose the Prince and Princess of Wales over the Sussexes to avoid awkward moments for King Charles and Queen Camilla during the wedding. The Sunday Times reports this.

The billionaire aristocrat, one of Britain’s richest men, 32, proposed to Olivia Henson at his family seat, Eaton Hall in Cheshire. They will marry on June 7 at Chester Cathedral, the wedding of the year.

It comes as it was revealed he is the godfather of Harry’s son Archie – in addition to Prince George’s godfather, who will be at the wedding.

He is a lifelong friend to each of the brothers and is considered the only friend both chose to mentor their children.

And to rub salt in the wound, Prince William is thought to be in the running to become Grosvenor’s best man.

The newspaper understands that the Duke wanted to invite Harry and Meghan, but ultimately decided against it as he feared the tension this would cause with the other Royals who were invited – including the King and Queen.

“It’s incredibly sad that it has come to this,” a friend of William and Harry told The Sunday Times.

‘Hugh is one of the few close friends of William and Harry who has maintained strong ties and lines of communication with both. He wishes they could put their heads together and patch things up, but realizes that’s unlikely to happen before the wedding.”

“He wanted to avoid anything overshadowing the day, especially for Olivia, and doesn’t want any awkwardness.”

A spokesman for the duke said last night: ‘We are not in a position to comment on the guest list.’ Buckingham Palace also declined to comment.
