Peter Phillips is ‘happier than ever’ with girlfriend Lindsay Steven, friends say

Peter Phillips is “happier than ever” and totally in love with his girlfriend Lindsay Wallace, who is a “breath of a breath,” sources say.

Princess Anne’s son, 45, and Lindsay, 42, were pictured smiling together at the coronation concert last month as they watched from the royal box in the Windsor Estate grounds.

They attended with Peter’s daughters, Isla Phillips, 11, and Savannah Phillips, 12, who he shares with his ex-wife Autumn.

A friend of the king’s cousin told it Hello that Peter has always been “extremely close” to King Charles and that “it meant a lot” to be able to get Lindsay to the Coronation concert.

The source told the outlet, “He’s in a great place right now and couldn’t be happier in his private or private life.”

The friend added that the pair look “so natural” in each other’s company, adding that they are “incredibly happy” together.

“Lindsay really is a breath of fresh air and it’s clear that both Lindsay and Peter love life,” the friend continued.

Peter and Autumn announced they were separating in 2020, with the divorce finalized in 2021.

She still has a good relationship with some members of the family.

Last month she was photographed at a charity golf tournament with Zara Tindall, Peter’s sister.

Meanwhile, rumors of a romance between Peter and Lindsay first surfaced when he visited her in March 2021, raising questions about whether he had broken lockdown restrictions.

Eight months later, he showed he was serious about his new relationship when he brought Mrs. Wallace as his date to his cousin Lucas’ christening.

The pair were photographed together in a car ahead of the royal family gathering.

Peter, the eldest child of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips, then took the very important step of introducing Mrs Wallace, the daughter of an oil magnate, to his grandmother the Queen, who was said to be “over the moon.”

Mrs Wallace was introduced to Her Majesty at a shootout in Windsor and the meeting was described as ‘warm’ by one source.

A spokesperson for Mr Phillips confirmed at the time that Ms Wallace, 40, had accompanied him yesterday to the joint christening of Zara and Mike Tindall’s son, Lucas, and Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s son, August, in Windsor.

The oil magnate’s daughter, Mrs Wallace, mother of two, knows Mr Phillips and his sister, Zara Tindall, from their £40,000-a-year school days with Gordonstoun.

Mrs Wallace, who is also divorced from her husband, attended Gordonstoun, the respected Scottish school that Prince Charles attended, in the same year as Zara.

She was one of the guests at the royal family’s 2011 wedding to rugby star Mike Tindall.
