Pip Edwards loves little more than a day at the beach.

And the PE Nation designer looked relaxed and refreshed as she lounged on a towel on Sydney's seafront on Sunday, despite the scorching heatwave.

The 43-year-old revealed in an Instagram Stories post that she was recharging while soaking up the rays.

“Solar charging on the best Sunday ever,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself in a skimpy white bikini.

As temperatures in Sydney soared to 38 degrees Celsius, Pip fearlessly soaked up the rays as she took a dip with friends.

Pip hasn't always taken kindly to harsh UV rays.

In 2021, Pip starred in Naked Sundays' skin cancer awareness campaign, Give Melanoma The Cold Shoulder.

“Skin is everything, and it's a big focus for me as I get older, especially after years of sun damage,” the activewear guru said at the time.

“It's no secret that I love the sun, so this is why I'm teaming up with @naked_sundays to promote their #givemelanomathecoldshoulder campaign, which encourages everyone to wear SPF every day to protect your precious skin,” she added to it.

Pip also gave an interview with Naked Sundays about her commitment to sun protection.

“When I was young I didn't take care of my skin at all, and now that I'm in my 40s it's clear that I'm suffering from years of sun damage and it can be difficult to reverse this,” she admitted to.

“Now I put my skin first and do everything I can to protect and preserve it, while still promoting healthy color and glow,” she added.

Last month, Pip appeared to have found love again after stepping out with her new husband, Lachlan Thompson, CEO of property development company Goldfields.

The couple were first pictured together in Noosa, Queensland, packing on the PDA during a low-key getaway.

“When I was young I didn't take care of my skin at all, and now that I'm in my 40s it's clear that I'm suffering from years of sun damage and it can be difficult to reverse this,” she admitted sooner.
