Pippa Middleton showed off her very toned physique as she enjoyed a beach day with her husband James Matthews and their children in the Caribbean.

The mother-of-three, 40, wore a white bikini with gold embellishments during her day out at Eden Rock beach, owned by her husband's family, in St Barts.

The younger sister of the Princess of Wales tied her long brown hair into a bun and paired her bikini with round tortoiseshell sunglasses.

The hands-on mum wore minimal accessories for her family day out – simply opting for a white watch to match her bikini.

Pippa and James, who married in May 2017, looked every inch the doting parents to their children Arthur, five, Grace, two, and Rose, one.

Pippa was seen running after her daughters across the sand before diving into the sea with her son. She was also seen happily picking up her daughter in the water.

Meanwhile, James – the older brother of Made in Chelsea star Spencer – was pictured happily walking into the water with one of their girls.

The father-of-three looked dapper in a pair of palm tree print swim trunks.

Pippa was later seen on a diving board with her son before going for a dip without her children.

The Matthews family owns the Eden Rock resort on St. Barts, one of the most exclusive hotels in the region. Stars such as Elton John, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio have stayed at the resort.

James' parents, David and Jane Matthews, moved to St. Barts in September 1995 after purchasing Eden Rock from local adventurer Rémy de Haenen.

Pippa's outing today comes after the Princess of Wales' 'successful' planned abdominal surgery more than three weeks ago.

The Daily Mail's Richard Eden reported last week that the mother of three is “on the mend.”

In a clear sign of her improvement, she was able to join her husband, Prince William, and their three children on a six-month holiday at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, where the king is also recovering.

“Catherine is recovering well,” said a friend. 'She was looking forward to a change of scenery and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the kids let off some steam with William.'

The 42-year-old princess was discharged twelve days ago from the London Clinic, where she had spent almost two weeks.

In Kensington Palace's only statement on her health, a spokesperson said on January 17 that “based on current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”

The spokesperson did not provide details about the nature of her surgery, but sources said it was not for cancer.

Since leaving hospital, without being photographed, Catherine has been staying at Adelaide Cottage, the family's four-bedroom home in Windsor Home Park.

Her children, Prince George, ten, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, all attend Lambrook school 15 minutes' drive away in Berkshire. They broke up on Friday for a week's holiday.

Earlier this week, Kate and Pippa's brother James shared a glimpse of his 'adventure' with his son Inigo, wife Alizee Thevenet and their dogs – but also made no mention of his sister's surgery.

Taking to Instagram, the 36-year-old father of one, who announced the birth of his firstborn in October 2023, posted a clip from his recent ski holiday.

In the video, the Ella & Co founder was seen making his way through the snow while baby Inigo was pulled along in a specially equipped stroller.
