He had spent most of Friday at Royal Ascot with his gorgeous wife Kate, but towards evening Prince William was spotted enjoying himself at KOKO nightclub in Camden.

Footage shows the Prince of Wales, 41, dressed in a light blue shirt, holding a beer and dancing back and forth while at the concert hall and former theater in London.

The heir to the throne appeared in a private box alongside two friends, including Prince Louis’ godfather and nightclub owner Guy Pelly, and appeared relaxed as he enjoyed his Friday night at the electronic theme night.

Wearing an open-collared blue shirt and a drink in hand, the father-of-three showed off his best moves by dancing on the balcony of the bar.

It comes after the heir cringes over his dancing at the coronation concert, joking to a fan that “dancing sober is always a bad idea.”

The 41-year-old royal joined other senior members of the royal family at the open-air concert celebrating the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla in Windsor last month.

During the live television broadcast, the Prince of Wales was shown dancing alongside Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Kate Middleton, 41, while Take That, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie performed.

While in 2017 the future king was spotted busting some old-fashioned moves at Verbier’s Farinet nightclub during a boys’ ski trip to Switzerland, he was again teamed up with Guy Pelly.

Footage captured by a member of the audience shows William “raising the roof” on American hip-hop duo Luniz’s hit “I Got 5 On It,” before he was seen taking up electronic dance music.

Known jokingly as the “Court Jester,” Guy Pelly is a childhood friend of both Prince William and Harry and a godfather to Prince Louis.

His mother Lady Carolyn Herbert was a close friend of Princess Diana, and the family is so close that Prince William skipped the late Queen’s Christmas lunch to support Guy at his father’s memorial service in 2015.

Many of the photos of the Prince of Wales in nightclubs over the years feature Guy by his side.

The 41-year-old Newcastle graduate also hosted the future King’s hen party in 2011 – apt as he previously owned many nightclubs including Mahiki in Kensington, Public, Whiskey Mist and Tonteria.

His own wedding, to Holiday Inn heiress Elizabeth Wilson, was attended by both William and Harry and was supposed to be a “wild” three-day affair in Memphis, Tennessee.

But he has not been without controversy.

In 2014, he was banned from driving for a third time after pleading guilty to drunk driving in his £90,000 sports car, and is known for his antics like swinging 40 feet up a marquee at a Prince’s Trust concert, stripped naked to his boxers.

He was also the friend by Prince Harry’s side – and dressed as the Queen – when he dressed up as a Nazi soldier in 2005.

However, Guy has managed to remain friends with both William and Harry despite the tension between the brothers, and has visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in California.

He was falsely blamed by palace officials for introducing teenage Harry to drugs, and was ostensibly cast out of the royal circle. He did not complain and was silent.

When it later turned out that he had nothing to do with Harry’s adolescent experiments with cannabis, Pelly was welcomed back into the royal fold almost like a third brother.

William’s well-deserved night out comes after he embarked on a 48-hour UK tour to launch his project aimed at ending homelessness.

His initiative, called Homewards, wants to make ‘rough sleeping, sofa surfing and other forms of temporary accommodation a thing of the past’. It will focus on six locations, one in London and another in Dorset.
