It comes after Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands arrived in Pretoria last month for their first state visit to South Africa.

And the royal duo looked happier than ever as they posed for photos on a road full of flowering trees.

Maxima stuns in a color block dress from Zeus + Dione, which she previously wore during a three-day state visit to Greece in 2022.

The mother-of-three could be seen giggling as the couple stood in front of a beautiful backdrop of jacaranda trees.

Pretoria is commonly known as Jacaranda City because of its vast number of trees, which turn the landscape blue and purple when they bloom in spring.

The blossom trees, native to Brazil, also bloom every year in October.
