Reese Witherspoon wants to 'fall in love again' after splitting from her second husband a year ago… as she continues to sedate as she approaches her 48th birthday

Reese Witherspoon wants to 'settle down' again.

The 47-year-old actress was initially married to Ryan Phillippe and has Ava, 24, and 20-year-old Deacon with her. And she split from talent agent Jim Toth, 53, in 2023 after 12 years together.

Now an insider has claimed she wants to meet 'someone special' in the coming months.

The source said this in this week's edition We weekly: “Reese hasn't been out much yet, but she's meeting up with some friends of friends.

'She takes it very slowly. In an ideal world, she would love to meet someone special in 2024 and eventually settle down, but for now there is no pressure.”

Also on Wednesday, the star — who turns 48 in March — shared several images showing off her toned legs while modeling spring clothes.

The Legally Blonde star – who has 10-year-old son Tennessee with Jim – recently explained that she had been going through a “vulnerable time” following the end of her marriage.

She Harper's Bazaar magazine: 'It's interesting what happened to me. When I was previously divorced, the gossip media was allowed to tell people how I was feeling or what I was doing, and it felt very out of control.

“To be able to talk directly to people about what's going on in my life and just share it in the way that I share great professional experiences or personal experiences, it feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not let anyone otherwise determine what happens.

'Then of course there is speculation, but I have no control over that.

“All I can do is be my most honest, candid self and be vulnerable.

'It's a vulnerable time for me. “I think about how many other people are going through this experience. I don't feel isolated at all. I feel very connected.'

The Morning Show actress initially announced the news of her divorce in a joint statement with Jim in March 2023.

They wrote on Instagram: 'We have personal news to share… With great care and consideration we have made the difficult decision to divorce.

“We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and continue with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for all we have created together.”

This comes after she was spotted with her mini-me daughter Ava Phillippe in Paris.

They were seen eating, drinking and sightseeing all weekend.

The star posted cute photos on her Instagram account where she and her 24-year-old girl visited the City of Lights at high-end eateries.

In one photo, they were both seen enjoying white wine in long-stemmed glasses while sitting at a small outdoor bistro-style table with a small glass of peanuts in the middle.

“January in Paris ❄️,” Reese wrote in her caption, while Ava added an emoji of two champagne glasses in the comments section.

Friend Jessica Alba wrote in the comments section, “Mother-daughter trips are everything!”

Both ladies were in all black. Reese had a black jacket over her shoulders with a black vest and pants.

Her child wore a black blazer with large gold buttons, tights and shiny boots.

The ladies looked like twins in matching hair color and lip color as they enjoyed some relaxation in the busy bistro. And both had shiny yellow gold jewelry.

They were also seen viewing large black and white photographs in an art gallery. And they joined up with some of Reese's friends, like a woman named Jenny Belushi.

This comes after they shot for Paris Fashion Week.

The actress looked effortlessly stylish in all black, the only color being her chic and small red bag at the Fendi show.

Reese's black mini dress had long sleeves and a high neckline, and she paired it with a pair of high heels from Fendi.

In 2023, Reese appeared in one film: rom-com Your Place Or Mine? – with Ashton Kutcher who has not had a leading role in the film since 2013.

Later this year, she will appear in the Amazon Prime comedy You're Cordially Invitationed with Will Ferrell.

The film follows the bride's father (Will) who discovers that his daughter's dream wedding venue has been double-booked for another bride and her wedding planner sister (Reese).

Reese has won an Oscar, an Emmy and two Golden Globes in her 33 years of Hollywood career.

Reese recently came under fire for turning snow into a dessert.

Shared a TikTok of herself making a winter-themed drink she called Snow Salt Chococinno, using outside melted snow.

Fans were baffled, telling the actress that snow was dirty and warning that consuming it could make her sick.
