Rickey Smiley reveals that he has no problem with ‘offensive people’ while he has described the list of taboo subjects in Comedy Special

Rickey Smiley is back – and has stated that he is funnier than ever before.

“I have not done a special for 12 years, so I am really enthusiastic about it,” he told DailyMail.com.

Smiley – whose new special fool is now available for streaming at Hulu – describes his latest project as ‘funny, animated, with a lot of energy’.

‘[It’s] Really physical, “he says. “Something I think everyone would enjoy.”

Smiley, 56, says that ‘life has brought many changes’ since his last special, something he dives into in Fool-like.

If you are kidding that he is now ‘older and has a beard’, he also spoke about the changes that grown children – and recently discovered that he is the biological father for the six -year -old twin girls – has had his comedy.

“I also talk about that in the special,” he assures fans. ‘It’s a great special to be in the 40s and 50s, [and for] People in the twenty and 30 or whatever. ‘

“I think I’m funny now than before,” he said. “Because at this age you say everything in your head and you don’t care who gets angry.”

“If you have more life behind you than before you, you don’t care,” he laughed.

Smiley, who lost his 32-year-old son Brandon to a casual overdose in January 2023, said that performing his show had the feeling that they were on stage together.

MY son was an artist, he was funny. He had his own style and uniqueness on stage, “he thought.

“I’m just happy that we can share and do the same,” he said passionately.

For Smiley, who performed in comedy shows since the 1980s, there were no nerves when it came to putting together the show.

“I had done so many shows and comedy clubs, three shows Saturday, two shows Friday – do the morning show every morning,” he mentioned.

He joked that it was as if you were exercising the comic muscles in your brain and had ‘a lot of fun’ to think of what to include in the special.

“I’ve been performing for years, and if you find out if you are going to do a special, you will continue and let us put together a special set,” he explained.

Smiley says that means ‘doing things that people will remember’.

The comedian added that there might be some humor that can insult people, he considers his content universally fascinating.

“You say what needs to be said and it is funny and everyone tells about it, and you only say what everyone thinks, so we are simply brave enough to say it,” the comedian shared.

He revealed that his potential taboo subjects ‘talk about small people’ and his favorite TV program are -my 600 pounds.

“People can get offended,” he admitted. “But hey, it’s funny, they’re going to see it.”
