Saltburn fans are in meltdown after a food influencer shared a cocktail inspired by Jacob Elordi and that infamous bathtub scene.

Los Angeles native Steven Fingar received mixed reviews when he shared his ‘creative’ take on a Saltburn-themed drink with his 131,000 followers on Instagram.

He wrote: ‘If you’ve seen the movie Saltburn then you know (apologies in advance). But if not, it’s probably best to be completely unaware of it.”

Viewers were divided over the off-white colored cocktail, with many labeling it ‘horrific’ while others found the drink absolutely hilarious.

The drink is inspired by an eyebrow-raising scene in the Amazon Prime film, in which main character Oliver (played by Barry Keoghan) drinks his friend Felix’s used bathwater.

The cocktail, inspired by the nerve-wracking scene in Emerald Fennell’s film, leaves fans unsure what to think

The film follows Oxford student Oliver (Barry Keoghan) as he struggles to fit in with the super-rich crowd studying at the elite university, but Felix soon takes him under his wing.

The sought-after Felix eventually invites Oliver to stay at his illustrious mansion in Saltburn this summer, sparking a season of eccentricity, partying and downright chaos.

The twisted story has its fair share of awkward moments, from Oliver’s disturbing graveyard moment to the unnerving bathtub scene.

Like the movie that inspired it, the drink also left many users unsure how to feel.

The recipe for the cloudy cocktail is simple. To start, add two ounces of rum and two ounces of pineapple juice.

Following Steven’s instructions, you then add half an ounce of coconut cream and a squeeze of lime juice.

“Add your ice and shake vigorously. Rim your glass with coconut cream and pour,” he joked. ‘And that’s the perfect Saltburn cocktail. Please slurp responsibly.”

Several users flocked to the comments, describing the drink as ‘horrific’ and ‘insane’.

“IT’S DISGUSTING in the best way possible,” one person wrote. “Hey, why don’t we start the new year with a Jacob Elordi bath cocktail?”

“This was the push I needed to delete Instagram, thank you,” said one user. The name of the drink fell open, with one reading: “This just made my stomach hurt.”

However, not everyone was impressed with the drink, with some fans eager to try it, labeling it as ‘funny’.

“You had me at Jacob Elordi,” said one fan. Another joked: ‘I have a mini tub I can serve it in.’

It comes just days after the Australian star recalled his reaction to the film’s infamous bathtub scene.

In an interview with Stream warsElordi shared his thoughts on the controversial scene and praised the film’s director Emerald Fennell for the idea.

“I was just really excited when I read that scene because… you don’t see things like that very often in mainstream movies…,” he told the outlet.

“So it’s just great that [Fennell] was allowed to push those boundaries a little and expose people in that way.’

The Euphoria star went on to admit that he has largely avoided others’ reactions to the film, but did get a sense of viewers’ thoughts on the bathtub scene during a screening.

“I haven’t really heard much about it because I try to hide from it,” he explained. “But I went to a screening of the film in Brisbane when it first played and it was incredible because everyone was engaged and gasping at the screen and shouting at the screen and all that.

‘And I haven’t been in a movie like that for a long time. So I haven’t heard from the real ones yet… I mean, I hope there aren’t any horrible stories, but yeah.”
