A MONSTER who put a cat in a blender before killing a stranger because her friend ‘thought it would be hot’ has been jailed.

Scarlet Blake, 26, livestreamed herself mutilating a cat just four months before the brutal murder of stranger Jorge Martin Carreno.

Jorge, a 30-year-old BMW worker, was found dead in a river after suffering a fatal blow to the back of the head and injuries to his neck after being lured to his death in July 2021.

Blake, a transgender woman who occasionally took on the personality of a cat, had done that before rehearsed the brutal murder of a pet.

She dissected a cat before putting it in a blender in eerily similar scenes to the Netflix documentary Don’t F*** with Cats.

In the video, which featured the New Order song True Faith, she could also be heard saying: “Here we go, my little friend. Oh boy, you smell like shit. I can’t wait to put it through the blender.” .”

Encouraged by internet friend Ashlynn Bell, herself a fan of Nazi memorabilia, Blake went from being the cat to finding a random stranger to attack and kill in the middle of the night.

Messages obtained by police later revealed how Blake had told Ashlynn how she planned to behead Jorge.

She also told ex-fiancée Evie Brockman: “I’ve killed people because my lover thought it would be hot.”

Blake was today sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 24 years after being found guilty of murder last week.

She was also given a four-month prison sentence after admitting causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal following the sick clips, and a two-month prison sentence for criminal damage in relation to a cat in November last year.

The prison sentences for the additional offenses will run concurrently.

Blake, who wore the same black blazer every day during the trial, nodded to her mother as she was led away from the dock by three prison guards.

It is understood she will be held in a maximum security men’s prison.

Passing sentence, Judge Chamberlain told the killer: ‘Most likely you hit him on the back of the head with a vodka bottle or something else you had brought with you.

‘You then strangled him with a ligature or some other object. Maybe you held it in the water. Anyway, you planned to kill him and you did.

“Your decision to kill Jorge was not a response to anything he had said and done, it was not a temporary mistake. It wasn’t a decision you made in anger or because your emotions overpowered you.

“It was a plan you’d been thinking about for months.”

He added: “You told the court that you did not want to kill a living thing, let alone a person, and it was Ashlynn who pressured you to do so.

“You have taken on the personality of a cat. You have spoken about the difficulties you have had in transitioning to life as a woman since childhood and about your difficult relationship with your parents.

‘All this was part of an elaborate attempt to rationalize what you did and shift responsibility to others.

Regarding the cat mutilation video, the judge continued: “What you enjoyed most was seeing the animal panting and panicking before it died.

“You told the jury you did all this to please Ashlynn Bell and got no pleasure from it yourself.

‘Apparently serious, you have invited the jury to conclude that you disapprove of people who are cruel to animals.

“But the clips we saw of you laughing and smiling with the severed cat’s head in the background leave no doubt that you enjoyed it.

“The video played New Order’s song True Faith on a loop. It is music that can also be seen in the Netflix documentary Don’t F*ck with Cats.

“You have said that you knew nothing about the documentary and that it did not influence your choice of music. I am sure this is not true.”

Oxford Crown Court previously heard how Blake had become fixated on “knowing what it would be like to kill someone”.

She was prowling the streets of Oxford looking for a victim when she came across Jorge on July 25, 2021.

He had become ‘lost and vulnerable’ as he took a 45-minute walk home after a night out with colleagues.

The pair walked through the streets of Oxford together before attacking him and leaving his body near the River Cherwell.

After the discovery of the body the next day, it took police two years to “properly understand” the circumstances surrounding his death.

The court also heard grim details about Blake’s dissection of the cat.

Blake plunged a scalpel into the cat’s eyes before placing its mutilated body in a blender.

She then “bragged” about the murder, which was reportedly inspired by the Netflix documentary.

The show is about a man who kills kittens before filming the murder of a human – while the same New Order song plays in the background.

ROTTEN ROMANCE How Scarlet Blake’s Crazy, Nazi-Obsessed Internet Girlfriend Encouraged Her to Kill a Stranger in Sick Messages

SCARLET Blake was encouraged by her Nazi-obsessed internet friend to mutilate a cat and kill a random stranger.

The evil cat killer, 25, livestreamed herself dissecting and killing a family cat four months before the brutal murder of Jorge Martin Carreno.

Messages obtained by police via the secretive social media platform Discord revealed how Blake told her partner Ashlynn Bell that she had killed Jorge with a homemade garrotte.

She also told her ex-fiancée, Evie Brockman, who Blake was filmed choking with consent, “I’ve killed people because my lover thought it would be hot.”

Asked about the messages during an arrogant, contradictory testimony, Blake insisted: “As an extension of me having to kill a cat, Ashlynn also tried to make me kill a person.

“I told Ashy that I had killed that person and made up the details in a dramatic way.

“When she saw the camera image of me in the jacket, she became quite convinced.”

At the end of the video, she cheekily asked, “Well, I wonder where I could do this to someone?”

The evidence was so graphic during her trial that jurors occasionally had to flee the courtroom.

Blake had denied looking for the victim the night after Jorge’s death, but told police she went for a walk because she couldn’t sleep.

She added: “I don’t know how he died. I just assumed he drowned. It wasn’t something I did. How, I still don’t know, I wasn’t there.”

But jurors were told she had confessed to partner Ashlynn, who lives in the US, that she had killed Jorge with a homemade garrote.

Alison Morgan KC, prosecuting, added: “The prosecution alleges that this defendant had an extreme interest in death and harm.

“It was an interest that went beyond mere fantasy. She described herself to others as someone who derived sexual satisfaction from the thought of violence and the thought of death.”

In a family impact statement read by a translator, Jorge’s mother said: “

“Jorge was not only an exemplary child, but also an exceptional being.

“He stood out for his incredible affection, kindness and ability to give himself completely to others. Jorge’s innate curiosity and creativity drove him to explore, learn and experiment tirelessly.”

She added: “Jorge, with his caring and kind nature, lit up every place and always spread joy with his humor and infectious curiosity.

“With a great sense of humor and his enormous desire to live and enjoy life, he became a special being.

“The loss of Jorge has left an open wound in the hearts of his family, as well as everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

“This loss feels like a traumatic, devastating blow, leaving a void that is impossible to fill. “To endure the pain of losing a son, a brother, under such tragic and unjustified circumstances, is an ordeal that no family should have to endure.”
