Schoolgirl Shay Kang, 10, suffered knife wounds after being ‘killed’ by her mother at home, inquest heard
A SCHOOLGIRL suffered knife wounds to her chest after allegedly being murdered by her mother, an inquest heard.

Her mother Jaskirat Kaur, who also goes by the name Jasmine Kang, has been charged with murder.
An inquest today revealed how the youngster died from stab wounds to the chest.
Black Country coroner Joanne Lees said Shay was pronounced dead at her home.
She added: “I will suspend my corona investigation and postpone the inquest pending the outcome of the criminal proceedings.”
The horror then unfolded Police were called home after a welfare officer could not get an answer.
Tributes have poured in for the youngster, who was a pupil at Brickhouse Primary School.
The school said in a statement: ‘Shay was a bright, happy and cheerful child who was loved by all and she will be dearly missed by all.
“School is the heart of the community and we have already started working with our children and staff to support them following this devastating situation news.”
Shay’s godmother Kayleigh Colclough also opened up about her pain in a heartbreaking tribute.
She wrote: “I will miss you girl. My heart hurts.
“I’m not sure how I feel. I feel sick, numb, angry and a failure. I am completely broken.
“I’m so sorry, girl. I will miss you forever, but remember that I will bring you justice.”
Kaur has been remanded in custody after previously appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
No pleas have been entered and she is next one will appear in court on April 22.
