A suspect got into an argument with an employee at a scooter repair shop in Queens over a $30 bill, using his helmet as a weapon while aiming at a man’s head before attacking other employees and breaking the store’s windows.

By the time police were called to arrest him, he was completely out of control and bit an officer on the hand.

Surveillance camera footage shows the moment the 35-year-old black man, with red shoulder-length hair, lost his cool after picking up his moped from the Fly E Bike store in Astoria around 1 p.m. on Monday.

It’s not clear what was said to those working in the store, but there was clearly a disagreement that caused the man to fly into a rage as he raged at staff and used his helmet to smash the head of another 28-year-old worker. to beat.

The stabbed suspect was later arrested and taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center where he is listed in stable condition pending against him.

The officer who was bitten on the hand also had to be taken to hospital for treatment.
