It can be difficult to know what to wear because trends change almost as quickly as the seasons, leaving many of us struggling to know what’s in and what’s out.

One fashionista has revealed which colors they should be wearing this spring and there’s a surprisingly wintery shade on her list.

If you don’t follow it Rachel Clarkyou need to prepare to meet your new fashion influencer.

Known for her informative video on Tiktok, the fashion expert regularly goes viral as she rounds up the latest trends and shares how to style them.

As fashion week kicked off in London, American women were already taking to the catwalks in search of the best colors to wear this season.

However, it was an unusually wintery shade that caught her attention: cherry red.

While these dark shades and burgundy shades are usually reserved for winter, Rachel explained that you’ll be seeing them everywhere this spring, especially on influencers.

Red has been everywhere lately, but I’m especially loving the darker shades for spring,” she told fans, with berry shades used by Ralph Lauren, Prada and even Versace late last year.

Even celebrities can’t get enough of this fruit color as Dua Lipa debuted her gorgeous new red hair at this year’s Golden Globes ceremony.

However, since it was spring, there were plenty of pastels that made it onto the Tiktoker list.

For those who feel like they want to look good enough to eat, pistachio is the color to go this season and is similar to the mint greens we’ve seen before.

The content creator loved the color, saying, “The shade of green is so pretty and I imagine we’ll be seeing a lot of it in sets, jackets and bags.”

I’ve found the best spring dress from H&M: it’s floral, shrinks your waist and costs less than £20

However, if you really want to take the style a step further, you can combine this pastel shade with a woven basket bag in a light color.

Likewise, the fashionista claims that we will see more buttery yellow shades this spring as influencers have already been spotted wearing the color.

But instead of floral dresses, Rachel thinks style queens will wear it in a very special way.

“We’ll see a lot of this shade in chunky sweaters and cardigans,” she said, with some choosing to add a masculine touch by pairing it with biker jackets.

But it wouldn’t be spring without the powdery blue, which is currently popping up everywhere – according to the fashion influencer.

“Powder blue will be everywhere as always,” she revealed, adding that this too will be styled with darker shades and accessories.

After showing a woman wearing a striped shirt and a beautiful Celine handbag, Rachel confessed: “I love this mix of dark cherry red and light blue.

“It would also look great with a cobalt or navy sweater,” she suggested, with another image of an influencer wearing multiple shades of blue.

For those who are still not over Barbie, you will be happy to know that pink will also be a major trend for spring 2024.

This won’t be neon though, with style queens wearing a millennial pink pastel, perfect for this time of year.

According to Rachel, you can style it with simple black accessories for a statement pop and it will also become a big trend in knitwear.

It seems the best thing we can do is turn to M&S and start buying sweaters en masse.
