Sunrise viewers notice a major change to the show… and reveal their theory behind it: ‘Must have died’

Sunrise watchers have pointed out a notable set change.

On social media, fans of the breakfast show were quick to point out the removal of plants that once stood behind the show’s sofa.

‘Have the plants behind the sofa been removed? Too bad if they have that. Reminded me of old school Martin Place,” one viewer asked.

“I think they went when they started moving that couch. Agree, the plants need to make a comeback,” another added.

‘I forgot they had the plants there. Must have died,” one person joked, before sharing a screenshot of the foliage behind comedian Sam Pang.

One user claimed the set looked ‘sterile’ without the plants, which was not seen in the show’s Eveleigh studio this week.

“Bring back the plants… they make the set look less sterile,” one viewer commented.

It comes just days after Sunrise welcomed back a beloved star.

The Sunrise Cash Cow appeared on the breakfast show on Monday, along with presenters Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington.

‘We missed you!’ Nat cried out when the beloved cow character arrived, having last been seen in 2022.

‘Kochie left me in a paddock. I’m back, but I can’t reveal everything now!’ the cow was holding a sign.

‘I have money and I can’t wait to give it away. Stay tuned this week,” the cow added.

“Wow, you must have a lot of money after being in the paddock for so long,” Matt said.

“That’s great… so you have a lot of money to give out,” Natalie chimed in.

“The cash cow is back, Yahoo – happy days,” Matt added.

“Do you know how many people signed up wanting the Cash Cow to come back? It was thousands,” Natalie said.

Cash Cow previously offered viewers giveaways, with a chance to win as much as $10,000.

Normally this happened by viewers finding a code word and entering the contest via text message.
