Yes, a little bit. Meeting someone on a blind date isn’t something you do every day and although I’ve been on plenty of first dates, this was all new.

First impression?

I thought Jasdeep was a handsome man who clearly took care of himself. He was wearing skinny jeans and a gray sweater – casual but smart. We said hello, but I could tell he was quite shy.

Easy to talk to?

I have to be honest; it was hard work and I had to keep the conversation going for the entire date. At first he barely spoke.

We talked about films, but Jasdeep had never heard of the artsy films I like. But he clearly has a passion for his studies. He also has a good relationship with his family and still lives with them. To be honest, I don’t think he’s really dated before.

Embarrassing moments?

Not really, but his intense shyness made the whole date very awkward.

Yes, I usually meet women through friends, so the idea of ​​a blind date felt weird. As I waited for Chloe at the restaurant, I was convinced she wouldn’t show up.

First impression?

I really had no idea what to expect, but when she walked up to me, smiled and said her name, I found her very attractive. Her pants and crop top looked nice and she also seemed very friendly.

During the day the episode of Wednesday March 20 of their “New Heights” podcast, Travis, 34, was asked by his brother Jason Kelce if he has watched “recently new TV shows.”

A tough supermarket chain has beaten Aldi and Lidl to top spot in a blind taste test involving hot cross buns.

Yet both discounters ended up cheaper than the winner in the test by consumer group Which?.

Which? asked 73 shoppers to blind-taste luxury hot cross buns from nine supermarkets’ own brand lines to see how they compare.

Upmarket retailer M&S came out on top with its luxury fruit four-pack scoring a total of 76%.

Panelists noted that the rolls had a strong aroma, contained a generous amount of dried fruit and were sweet and moist.

However, at £2.10, or 53p per sandwich, they were the most expensive of all nine supermarket varieties.

Aldi finished in second place, with a score of 73% for the specially selected luxurious, fruity hot cross buns.

The £1.25 pack of four was renowned for its value for money, and the sandwiches for their appearance, aroma, taste and texture.

Their sweetness, moistness and texture were highly rated by 70% of panelists, while 60% said the spice had the right balance.

Which? said Aldi’s hot cross buns are a “delicious, cheap option”.

In third place was Asda’s Extra Special Extra Fruit Rolls, which cost £1.40 per pack and scored a 72% overall.

The amount of dried fruit in the sandwiches, the overall sweetness and texture were all highly rated by shoppers.

Nearly two-thirds said they had the right sweetness, although a third said they could have used more spice.

In joint third place were Sainsbury’s’ Taste The Difference fruity hot cross buns with a score of 72%.

The sandwiches, priced at £1.50 for a pack of four, were known for their fruit content, sweetness and texture.

About 50% said they liked the spice content, but 44% said they were too dry.

In fifth place were Tesco’s Finest hot cross buns, scoring a total of 71%, followed by Lidl and Morrisons in joint sixth place with 70%.

Co-op came eighth with a score of 69%, while Iceland scored poorly, with an overall score of 62%.

Which? also noted that sandwich sizes vary between brands, with Asda, Tesco and M&S’ being fat, while Aldi’s sandwiches were the lightest.

Waitrose hot cross buns were not included due to availability issues.

Natalie Hitchins, from Which?, said: “Nothing says Easter more than a hot cross bun.

“Whether you eat yours plain, roasted or generously buttered, they are a real seasonal favourite.

“The Luxury Fruited Hot Cross Buns from M&S wowed our panel with their sweet taste, mixed with a spicy twist.

“However, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, Aldi was a worthy second and offered excellent value for money.”

Love is Blind star Jeramey Lutinski regrets how he behaved Sarah Ann Bick at season 6’s now infamous Lake Party.

“I do not approve of how I behaved in this,” 32-year-old Jeramey responded to a question on Monday, March 4. video posted on the official Love is blind Instagram account recapping the private conversation he had with 30-year-old Sarah Ann after breaking off his engagement Laura Dadisman. “I even look back at this like ‘WTF?'”

When a fan jokingly said, “Glad your mom got through to you,” in response to his change of heart, Jeramey confessed, “She definitely put me in my place.” Justifiably.”

While Jeramey came to regret his actions at the party, Sarah Ann, in turn, had a very different reaction when she reflected on the moment.

“Grab jet ski*,” she wrote in the comment section of the post with a sun, ocean wave and heart emoji.

Over the course of the show, Jeramey found himself falling in love with both Sarah Ann and Laura, 34. After going back and forth between the two, he eventually proposed to Laura. However, things took a turn for the worse when the couple returned home from a trip to Mexico and it was revealed that Jeramey’s heart might still belong to Sarah Ann after Laura discovered that the two had been secretly texting and spending time together. Jeramey and Laura had it out at the lake party and officially called it quits.

Shortly afterwards, Jeramey took off with Sarah Ann on jet skis, causing quite a stir among the rest of the partygoers.

Tuesday Love is blind Instagram post featured a carousel of different videos from the lake party, which took place during episode 11.

The first clip showed Jeramey playing with a soccer ball as he followed Sarah Ann as she expressed her frustration over the confrontation with Amber Desiree “AD” Smith about texting and meeting Jeramey despite being engaged to someone else.

“I’m not going to sit here and be treated like a piece of shit,” Sarah Ann told Jeramey in the Instagram video. “I know from my heart that it was never my intention to hurt anyone. Ever. They were never allowed to hurt anyone. That’s never what I wanted to do. This is nonsense. I’m not going to sit here and act like anyone can literally fuck themselves.

The second video showed the couple sitting in chairs by the lake and continuing their discussion, while the third saw Sarah Ann saying she has been “100 percent true to herself” since joining the Season 6 pods.

In the final clip, Jeramey opened up about ultimately proposing to Laura in the pods, despite his connection to Sarah Ann. “I don’t regret talking to you last night,” he said of their late-night conversation, which led to his breakup with Laura. ‘I don’t regret that at all. I’ve said that to Laura several times in front of other people. All this to say that I… made the wrong decision in the pods, and I think you know it at this point. I had all the clues in front of me that you and I should have done this together. Every feeling, the things we talked about, like my emotions towards it.

In my early forties, I had been married for four years. Before that, my longest relationship was again four years. When I was younger, I was interested in a conventional life path of marriage and children, but nowadays I’m relaxed about finding someone.

Pre-date nerves?

No, I wanted to put my date at ease. Since he’s an accountant, I was worried he might be a nerd, especially since he mentioned on his application that he was born on May 4 (known as Star Wars Day) and was therefore a Jedi.

First impression?

Jeremy is a warm, friendly, handsome man. Physically he is tall and has an open and engaging face. We greeted each other with a hug and a kiss, which we both wanted. He told me it was nice to meet me and then offered me the seat against the wall, which meant I got the comfortable couch.

Easy to talk to?

Yeah, and we joked that Jeremy talks a lot more than I do. I enjoyed listening; he is an interesting man.

I liked that he has solid friendship groups. He has been going skiing with a group of boys for twenty years. We also talked about his children and ex, but mostly focused on our passions.

Jeremy loves his sport; he likes squash. I admitted that I wasn’t sure I would be sporty enough for him, even though I have completed many tetrathlons, which involve shooting, swimming, riding and running. Jeremy admitted he should have looked it up!

Embarrassing moments?

Jeremy had a man bag. It was a similar design to my leather Italian handbag. There’s something quite feminine about it. There was even a nail file in it, which I thought was quite funny.

Did sparks fly?

I think there was a little bit of chemistry. I found Jeremy attractive. We both flirted a bit – there was a lot of eye contact, but no physical gestures or holding hands.

He wanted to take a selfie and sat next to me on the couch.

Will you see him again?

Well I hope so. Jeremy is great company, although he did say that he has a few blind dates planned. My surprised expression made him step back a little.

Don’t know. At one point he said that I have difficulty reading. I’m open and honest, so I don’t know what he meant.

A little. But that is only natural, because it is the fear of the unknown. However, I was also looking forward to it and took a day off to enjoy the whole process.

First impression?

I have a history of dating petite blondes and Melody ticked all the boxes. She is slim, neat, with short blond hair, and she is very beautiful and sweet. We greeted each other with a kiss on the cheek. To get the conversation started, I started with, “How did you get here?”

Easy to talk to?

Yes, although Melody is a fan of muscular men, while I am a 10th runner. She made quite a few references to my man bag, but I’m used to this reaction; it’s always a topic of conversation. I actually have five! In my defense, they are necessary for keys, phones (I have two), and my sunglasses.

It was fascinating to hear about Melody’s professional world; she has worked with actors such as Aiden Turner and Jason Statham. I joked that I model myself after Statham, with his lack of hair and stubble.

No, although the waiter had to come back four times to take our order because we were talking so much.

Did sparks fly?

Not for me. I had a nice time with a nice person. But romantically, it’s a no. Normally I can tell right away if there is a romantic spark in someone, and with Melody I just didn’t feel it. Still, we spent almost three hours together.

Will you see her again?

Um – probably not. No. That’s pretty cruel, isn’t it? But it’s an honest answer. I’m assuming the real deal and I didn’t get that romantic feeling during our date.

What do you think she thought of you?

I hope the same as I do: that there is no romantic future for us, but that I was good company and easy to talk to. I’m glad I did it and it was great meeting someone new.

Love is blind has seen its fair share of drama since its 2020 premiere, but season 6 brought a whole new level of chaos.

In January 2024, a new group of hopeful people set out to see if love really is blind. Although the Netflix show’s sixth season saw five couples get engaged unseen, accusations against some participants soon began to surface after new episodes aired.

Jeramey Lutinski found herself in a love triangle with Laura Dadisman And Sara Ann on the show, but accusations came from his alleged ex-fiance, Brittani Mclivertythat the couple was still engaged outside of the dating series when he signed up for the experiment.

“Someone was engaged and living with someone when she applied for this,” Brittani captioned a photo of the pair via Facebook in February 2024, in which she was seen wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring.

However, Jeramey quickly shut down the allegations, claiming that the duo had already called it quits and that everyone he dated in the pods knew about his relationship status at the time.

“Everyone I was on dates with, my castmates, and multiple interviews discussed this topic. No one is surprised by this, it was something that was well documented,” he said in an interview Instagram video later that month. “I did not apply for this while living with someone else. I lived on my own and I didn’t look for this. I was contacted via Instagram. I had already been traveling alone for a number of weeks. I was asked if I wanted to have a discussion about it. I said sure, why not.

Was Jeramey engaged?

After Brittani claimed they were still engaged at the time of the show, Jeramey shut down the allegations. He also responded to her additional claim that they were still living together, saying that he had “moved in at the end of 2022” and “just” sold their house when filming began.

Jeramey also attached a screenshot of one Love is blind casting producer asked him to sign up for the show in November 2022.

Did Jimmy have a girlfriend?

In February 2024 TikTok user Ryann Stringfellow claimed to be dating a man who appeared in season 6 of the Netflix show.

“Imagine my surprise when I turn on the new season Love is blind this morning and seeing my damn boyfriend,” Ryann said in the February 2024 TikTok. “Are you shocked? Because I definitely am.”

Although Ryann didn’t name the contestant, she strongly implied that this was the case Jimmy Presnell saying he dated a single mother who was a contestant Jessica Vestal and one of Jimmy’s top picks in the pods.

Once the clip went viral, Jimmy, who eventually proposed, proposed Chelsea Blackwell, the video stitched to close the claims.

‘I don’t know this woman. I’ve never met this woman. It’s not true,” he said. “It’s an incredible marketing ploy. She gets so many clicks and she makes so much money off my name, it’s insane. She doesn’t say it’s me, but she definitely insinuates it’s your boy.’

Jimmy noted that while he considered not commenting on the claims at all, he ultimately felt the need to respond after “having so many people send this to me.”

“I think she’s at about 16 million [views] right now, which to me is absolutely insane,” he continued, “and crazy that it’s getting so much attention, so I wanted to come out here and tell everyone that it’s not true.”

Did Trevor have a girlfriend?

While Jeramey and Jimmy denied the allegations against them, Trevor Sova kept quiet after his alleged ex-girlfriend Natalia Marrero claimed that he agreed to be on the show and continue to be in a relationship with her.

In alleged text messages shared by Instagram account @therealityashley in February 2024, Trevor allegedly said he had no plans to get married during filming. Love is blind. He also claimed he wanted to “marry” Natalia in the texts, promising her that everything he said on the show was a facade for TV.

Although Trevor did not publicly respond to the claims, Chelsea, who he dated in the pods, asked fans to cut him some slack for his mistakes.

“Y’all need to understand… we are human,” Chelsea wrote in February 2024 via her Instagram Story. “We’ve all made mistakes. Our lives became public incredibly quickly. All we can do is have mercy. It’s a very unfortunate situation. But I don’t wish that much hatred on anyone. Don’t forget to be kind.”

Did Kenneth participate in the Show for Fame?

Fans were shocked when one of the strongest couples, Kenneth Gotham And Brittany Mills, called it quits just days after returning home from Mexico. After an emotional conversation, the two agreed to go their separate ways.

After their departure from the show, Cait Lynwho claimed to be Kenneth’s cousin, shared why she thinks the high school principal went along with it Love is blind despite the fact that he gave up his engagement so easily. “TV Time I think,” she wrote via Facebook in February 2024.

Did Matthew see anyone in the pods?

After the season 6 episodes aired in January 2024, Love is blind participant Sunni Haralalka claimed that via TikTok Matthew Duliba ‘ghosted’ her while they were in the pods.

In her caption, Sunni confirmed that she was in a relationship alongside Matthew Amber Grant And Amber Desiree “AD” Smithbut “he didn’t even stay to say goodbye to me.”

Matthew did not discuss their alleged connection, which was not shown in the Netflix episodes.

Well, I was talking to the next table out of shame when the waiter showed up to set fire to Beki’s crepe and my sticky toffee pudding. I commented: ‘You don’t get this in County Durham.’

There was a bit of flirting on my end. And it was Beki’s idea to exchange numbers, but unfortunately I got hers wrong and haven’t been able to get in touch. It crossed my mind that she was giving me a duff number.

I would like. We are both Harry Potter fans. She has already done the studio tour and I said to her: ‘You are my guide then.’ After three hours I walked her to the station and hugged her goodbye.

Waitrose’s hot cross buns have beaten its rivals in this year’s Good Housekeeping Easter Taste Test Awards.

The Good Housekeeping Institute blind-tested 162 products from a selection of UK brands and grocers to find the best products for costumers ahead of the Spring occasion, including Easter eggs and meat centrepieces.

When it comes to buns, Waitrose reigned supreme, winning both the classic category with its £2.50 Golden Hot Cross Buns and the flavoured category with its £2.50 Belgian Chocolate Hot Cross Buns.

Cadbury’s £12 Crunchie Inclusions Ultimate Easter Egg took the top spot as the best milk chocolate Easter egg, and Asda’s £15 Extra Special Cocoa Noir Easter Egg was this year’s egg of choice for dark chocolate.

Meanwhile, Co-op’s £15 Irresistible Hereford Beef Joint got the title of best roast centrepiece, while Asda’s £8.50 Chicken Crown with Leek & Pancetta Stuffing was the best budget option.

Waitrose was crowned the winning supermarket this year, performing particularly well in the hot cross bun category.

Asda came second and was highly commended for its selection of Easter eggs, coming in the top five across eight categories, including dark eggs, milk eggs, vegan eggs and children’s eggs.

In picking the winners, each product was blind tested by a consumer panel to avoid brand bias. Testers based their rating on the items’ appearance, aroma, texture, and flavour.

The panel sampled 34 hot cross buns in total, including traditional, flavoured, and gluten-free options.

Waitrose impressed with their Golden Hot Cross buns, but their Belgian Chocolate Hot Cross Buns took the top spot for their ‘moist’ and ‘fudgy’ texture, according to the Institute.

Discount supermarket Aldi was runner-up with their Specially Selected Hot Cross Buns, priced at £1.35 for four.

Co-op also impressed the panel with its gluten-free offering. ‘The Co-op Gluten Free Hot Cross Buns are expertly spiced with a good hit of cinnamon and ginger, alongside more unusual additions such as ground coriander,’ the results read.

Amazon Fresh worked their way into the spotlight as the best budget option, with its six Hot Cross Buns priced at £1.15 and commended for their fruity punch.

The £12 Cadbury Crunchie Inclusions Ultimate Egg scooped up the top prize in the milk Easter egg category, with the chocolate and honeycomb combination proving to be a hit with the taste testers.

For fans of dark chocolate, Asda’s £15 Extra Special Cocoa Noir Easter Egg should be a solid choice, having won this year’s dark egg of choice for its balanced flavours.

In the white chocolate category, Betty’s took the top spot with its playful White Chocolate Flat Easter Egg with Milk Chocolate Lamb, priced at £13.75.

Those who follow a plant-based diet need not miss out on an Easter egg this year because the panel commended an impressive range of vegan eggs, with Cutter & Squidge’s £23.99 ‘Cookie Easter Egg’ winning the category overall.

Consumers who maintain a sustainable outlook when selecting their eggs might opt for Sainsbury’s £8 Taste the Difference Belgian Chocolate Orange Egg because it scored top among panellists.

Sainsbury’s was recognised for implementing more sustainable practices when creating the egg.

Waitrose’s £5 ‘Sam on Toast’, crafted to look like a fried egg on a slice of toast, impressed critics in the children’s eggs category and came top place.

Competition was tight when it came to Easter Sunday dinner components, but Co-op managed to secure the top spot for meat centrepieces with the £15 Irresistible Hereford Beef Joint’.

Asda’s Chicken Crown with Leek Pancetta Stuffing was awarded the best budget meat centrepiece, priced at £6.50.

Competition was tight for fish centrepieces, causing a tie between Aldi’s The Fishmonger Boneless Side of Salmon and Duke’s Hill Dressed Side of Oak Smoked Salmon.

For vegetarians and vegans, COOK’s Roasted Pepper and Goat’s Cheese Quiche was 2024’s best vegetarian main, while Asda’s OMV! Deliciously Vegan Mushroom Wellington came out top in the plant-based category.

Finally, the panellists tested roast potatoes, and this year, the Tesco Finest Maris Piper Goose Fat potatoes, priced at £3, were the overall winner.
