With wedding season upon us, many of us will be trying to find the perfect dress to wear and doing our best not to bring the bride to the fore.

However, one woman decided the rules didn’t apply to her and wore a white dress to her own daughter’s wedding.

The proud mother of the bride has broken the internet with her wedding outfit after it was shared on Reddit late last year.

It’s hard to tell which woman is the blushing bride as both dresses are off-white and have intricate detailing on the bodices.

Only the most observant person would notice the cathedral-style veil the bride wore that perfectly contrasted her lace bodycon dress.

Posing on the right next one for her husband, the newlywed looked beautiful in her dress with romantic details such as a sweetheart neckline and delicate lace.

Meanwhile, on the left, her proud mother stands in an equally bridal outfit and is clearly inspired by her daughter.

Not only did her dress have a similar neckline and silhouette, it even had lace embellishments running down the center.

Unable to wear a veil on the big day, she instead opted for a cut-out cape that highlighted her hourglass frame, which was heavily decorated.

For those who had trouble knowing who was who, you’re not alone as Redditors were also confused and the original poster even had to point out who the bride was.

After uploading the image to the forum website, they wrote: “ MOTB in white! It literally looks like a double wedding to me… I just saw this on FB. MOTB is on the left… WHY?!”

Even with this caption, some users were still confused by the two women in white.

‘Are you getting married?’ people exclaim as mother of the bride shows off her ‘dress-I-can-dance’ options for daughter’s big day

One Redditor even wrote: “I’m certainly not an expert, as I got married without any weddings. But to me, the dresses look so similar, and because the faces were blurred, I couldn’t tell who the bride was.

“Lol I tried to guess but I honestly couldn’t tell,” another user wrote, and they also added that the cape gave off “older vibes.”

Some even assumed the older woman was the groom’s mother because of her pose in the awkward photo.

‘Look at the hands. It’s 100% obvious (+ the cape leans a bit older too),” a third explained: “Not to mention the claw hold she has on her son. A person doesn’t like being replaced as ‘the woman’ in their life. Scary.”

Others were confused by the bride’s mother herwith some wondering if she was wearing a hat.

If you look closely, it looks like a fascinator with feathered locks who made her hair almost a foot taller than the bride.

“I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out if it’s her headpiece or a tree?” said a fourth, while a fifth claimed it reminded them of Vegas showgirls.

‘Zoom in, if it’s a tree, a very strange tree. “It also looks like a headpiece a Las Vegas showgirl would wear, but on a much smaller scale,” they joked.

We just hope the bride wasn’t as bothered by the headpiece and clothing as Redditors were.

The suspects have stated that they are active in the field of international human trafficking.

Human trafficking syndicate: An international human trafficking or 'Dunki' ring was busted by Delhi Police, arresting six persons and seizing over 200 passports, fake police clearance certificates, fake education certificates and fake permits from European countries, among others, an official said on Monday.

During the investigation, the three suspects, Younus Khan, Ibraheem and Akbor, were arrested from Sarita Vihar and recovered 12 passports, 10 mobile phones, around 150 Bangladesh Notary documents of 150 persons, 50 Bangladesh Police Clearance Certificates and several other incriminating items such as diaries. , list of victims, etc. were recovered.

Elle Macpherson arrived in Sydney on Monday and was met by photographers as she entered the Crown Sydney hotel.

And Married At First Sight villain Harrison Boon happened to spot the supermodel outside the venue where it was swarmed by paparazzi – before repeatedly posing for them to capture the perfect frame.

The reality star posted a video of Elle in action to his Instagram Stories and revealed that she and her new boyfriend, American musician Doyle Bramhall, repeated their walk to the venue several times.

“They’ve done this cringe thing about 250 times, no exaggeration,” Harrison wrote in his caption.

Elle was photographed beaming for cameras as she held hands with Doyle on her way to Crown Sydney.

In Harrison’s video, she is seen circling and turning back before approaching photographers for a second time.

The star, known as ‘The Body’, landed at Sydney Airport on Monday morning with her guitarist boyfriend Doyle.

The 59-year-old looked incredibly youthful as she returned Down Under for the first time in four years to celebrate the tenth anniversary of her health brand WelleCo.

The couple, who have been together for more than a year, appeared cheerful as they greeted several airport employees and waited for their luggage to be loaded into their waiting limousine.

It comes after Elle lost her patience with customs officials at Dallas-Fort Worth airport in America in November when she had to wait in line.

The Australian supermodel, 59, snapped at an employee as she was waved through customs only to be called back, reported Perth Now.

The WelleCo founder made no attempt to hide her irritation at having to wait while everyone else went through customs.

Having to wait in line longer than she expected, Elle expressed her frustrations to security and demanded answers.

“Why did you just tell me to go ahead and then tell me to come back?” Elle snapped.

She continued, “You just let five people through. I was ahead of them and now I’m behind again.’

  • Term was seen on Fox Sports’ image early in the match
  • Was quickly changed as soon as the error was discovered
  • Australian star Usman Khawaja has suffered from blemish before

Fox Sports was caught making racist comments against Pakistanis as the country’s cricket team played the Australian Prime Minister’s XI in Canberra on Wednesday.

Instead of abbreviating the country’s name to ‘PAK’ as usual, the pay-TV channel used ‘PAK*’ to describe the tourists early on the first day of the match.

There is no suggestion that the word was deliberately broadcast by Fox employees, who quickly changed it to ‘PAK’ when the error was noticed.

‘Suit*’ has been used as a racial slur in Britain since the 1960s, when immigration from the country was at its peak.

Fox Sports quickly changed the bottom left image of viewers’ screens to ‘PAK’ as soon as the offending error (pictured) was discovered

Despite being an abbreviation of ‘Pakistan’, the word is often associated with racist abuse of Pakistanis.

In 2007, Prince Harry was investigated by the British Ministry of Defense and ordered to undergo anti-racist training for calling an army colleague “our little Pak* friend.”

And in 2018, Pakistan-born Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja revealed he was insulted by the parents of children he played against as a youngster.

Fans of the sport expressed their shock online when Fox’s use of the word was revealed.

“Let’s hope we don’t play Nigeria anytime soon,” one person wrote.

“Well we can’t do that… How can you put a known racist term on your image,” asked another.

The racist term is also not exclusively aimed at Pakistanis, but Indians, Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans are also on the receiving end.

In 2010, former Indian opening batsman Aakash Chopra revealed that he was ‘constantly’ called the term by opponents while playing league matches in England.

“Many now believe that Pak* is an abbreviation of Pakistan, but that is not true,” he said.

“If you have a brown skin color, if you live anywhere in the Asian subcontinent, this term is used for racial abuse. Your name is Pak*, and no one likes it.’

And in March this year, England cricketer Tim Bresnan was accused of using the slur by calling his teammate Azeem Rafiq’s sister a ‘fit Pak*’.

Bresnan denied the accusation, which was raised at a hearing of the England Cricket Board’s cricket discipline committee as it investigated claims that he and other cricketers, including Test star Matthew Hoggard, had brought the game into disrepute by using racist language .

A top Pentagon official has been arrested for allegedly paying an undercover police officer for sex in a motel room – before claiming to police he was only there for a massage.

Stephen Hovanic, 64, of Sharpsburg, Georgia, entered the room with the woman, placed his sunglasses next to a condom and asked her if they could “do it for half an hour” before police stormed in.

A video released by the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office revealed the moment Hovanic was captured at the motel on Nov. 15 — in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security’s Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Unit.

Hovanic was charged with pandering, which amounts to soliciting sex.

He worked for the Department of Defense Education Activity for more than 20 years, overseeing the schools that educated U.S. military children on bases around the world.

Stephen Hovanic, 64, of Sharpsburg, Georgia, entered the room with the woman, placed his sunglasses near a condom and asked her if they could “do a half hour” before police officers burst through the door.

For the past thirteen years, Hovanic has also served as chief of staff of US Department of Defense schools.

Hovanic’s interaction with the woman – including giving money – was captured on video.

He can be heard introducing himself to the undercover officer, shaking “Katie’s” hand and saying, “Nice to meet you.” You are beautiful.

“I told you I’d shower before I got here.” The video then shows Hovanic saying to the woman, “Can we do half an hour?”

The agent tells him that she doesn’t “play until he pays,” meaning he has to give her money before any activity begins. He says, ‘I understand. That is fair.’

Hovanic then hands over her money, before moving to another part of the motel room. Shortly afterwards, two police officers rush into the room and handcuff him.

He shouts that he was only there to get a massage – which officers have since doubted.

The two-day operation also resulted in the rescue of six human trafficking victims, whose names have not been released, the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office said.

In total, the sting led to 26 arrests, including eight prostitution arrests.

The charges include prostitution, pandering and pimping. Three individuals are currently under investigation for human trafficking and drug abuse.

One officer told FOX 5, “These types of operations are very important to us because sex buyers are a major problem in the industry in the first place.

‘Without sex buyers, there would be no market in which women could continue to be victimized.

“Second, and probably most important to all of us, is the victimization of these women.

“There is no good scenario for them in this lifestyle, so the goal is to get them out of this lifestyle.”

The DoDEA, the Department of Defense Education Activity, said it is “aware of an alleged incident involving a DoDEA employee in the Americas Region.”

‘As legal proceedings are ongoing it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time. Any questions regarding the incident should be directed to the appropriate local law enforcement agency.”

Earlier in November, in a separate operation, prosecutors charged three people with running a high-end brothel network in Boston and Northern Virginia whose customers included elected officials.

Other clientele included technology and pharmaceutical industry executives, lawyers, professors and military officers, although federal prosecutors identified none of them.

Prosecutors say they paid up to $600 an hour for sexual encounters with mostly Asian women who were exploited through sex trafficking.

Acting U.S. Attorney Josh Levy announced charges against the brothels’ alleged operators, Han Lee, 41, and Junmyung Lee, 30, of Massachusetts and James Lee, 68, of California.

In addition to raiding locations in Massachusetts, Virginia and California, the government also seized two websites linked to the ring.

At a press conference, Levy said: ‘This commercial sex ring is built on secrecy and exclusivity and targets wealthy, well-connected clients.

“They’re doctors, they’re lawyers, they’re accountants, they’re executives at high-tech companies, pharmaceutical companies, they’re military officers, government contractors, professors, scientists.

‘Choose a profession, they are probably represented in this case. Business is going well, even to this day.’

Levy continued, “We want to work closely with our federal, state and local partners to hold accountable the people who run this ring and the people who fueled the demand for this ring.”

According to charging documents, the defendants, led by Han Lee, used luxury apartment complexes as brothels in Cambridge and Watertown, Massachusetts, and Fairfax and Tysons, Virginia.

An affidavit states that the women advertised commercial sex on two websites under the guise of professional nude photo shoots.

The affidavit also shows a text message sent from a phone related to the Massachusetts operation, which contains a “menu.”

According to the document, the “menu” listed the sexual services available, the hourly rate and the women available.

The affidavit states that the term “BB” is a term used in the prostitution industry to refer to unsafe sex, and that “GFE” refers to a “Girlfriend Experience.”

The document states that this is a service that “blurs the lines between a financial transaction and a romantic relationship.”

Prince Andrew’s excruciating BBC interview with Emily Maitlis was so explosive that one television performance is apparently not enough.

Four years after the embattled royal family’s criticism on Newsnight over his friendship with the late billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, two of the world’s biggest streaming titans are going head-to-head with their own dramatizations of the so-called ‘scoop of the decade’. ‘.

In one corner we have the Netflix film Scoop, based on a book written by Sam McAlister, the former BBC production journalist who secured the interview. In Amazon Prime’s other series A Very Royal Scandal, which Maitlis executive produces.

Since even the most ardent royal watcher is unlikely to watch both, competition between the dramas is fierce. Especially since McAlister and Maitlis are said to be ‘arch enemies’ after the interviewer was accused of ignoring the crucial contribution her producer made in mediating the prince’s interview.

At the time, Prince Andrew’s appearance sparked royal commentators, with one describing it as ‘a plane crashing into an oil tanker, causing a tsunami and a level-high nuclear explosion’ – following his increasingly bizarre responses.

Who can forget his claim that he was incapable of sweating and that he could not have had an inappropriate relationship with then 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre because he was at Pizza Express in Woking, Surrey on the night in question?

And it looks like the stars are lining up to take part in the highly anticipated adaptations. Since money is no object for both streaming giants, they have been competing to create the ultimate A-list cast. Friends of McAlister have said, “She definitely thinks the Scoop actors and actresses are the better ones. She literally has to pinch herself’.

McAlister is “over the moon” to have signed The Crown’s Gillian Anderson to play Maitlis and, according to friends, “so, so, so excited” to have Billie Piper playing her. Rufus Sewell plays Prince Andrew, while Keeley Hawes stars as Andrew’s then-private secretary, Amanda Thirsk.

Meanwhile, Emily Maitlis was said to be ‘excited’ last week to unveil Hollywood actor Michael Sheen as the prince for A Very Royal Scandal. Ruth Wilson, a Golden Globe winner for drama The Affair, will take on the role of Maitlis and The Thick Of It’s Joanna Scanlan will play Thirsk.

As for the scripts, McAlister says British playwright and screenwriter Peter Moffat is writing her one-part drama – with Philip Martin, who worked on seven episodes of The Crown in 2017, as director.

Maitlis has gone one step further for her three-part series, signing Bafta-nominated director Julian Jarrol, who not only helmed The Crown but also worked on Sky Atlantic’s drama This England, which told the story of Boris and Carrie Johnson during the pandemic.

Ultimately, however, it won’t be the cast and crew who dictate the success of either drama, but who get it to the small screen first. And it looks like Netflix and McAlister are winning the race to broadcast. While there’s no official date for when either drama will air, Scoop has finished filming, while A Very Royal Scandal is supposedly not even halfway done yet.

An insider told the Mail: ‘This was always going to be a race against time, except Sam [McAlister] was the first to get there and she certainly has a head start of several months at the moment.’

McAlister published her book Scoops: Behind The Scenes Of The BBC’s Most Shocking Interviews in July 2022 – while the Netflix deal was announced last autumn. Filming began earlier this year, with set photos released in February.

Maitlis’ A Very Royal Scandal was first discussed in the summer of 2022 – with Amazon only confirming their involvement last week.

Those on Team Netflix are said to have been ‘amused’ at how angry the former BBC star was said to have been after seeing her former colleague, McAlister, racing for her project. “It must really piss Emily off that the production girl beat her to it,” someone said. “Not only did she have to see all the photos from the shoot, but there is now no doubt that Scoop will be released first.”

And there’s no doubt that the rivalry between the women is “absolutely real.” While working at the BBC, McAlister reportedly spent months building a relationship with private secretary Amanda Thirsk before holding a series of meetings with her at Buckingham Palace.

Despite being a high flyer, she was paid a fraction of the £325,000 annual salary that Maitlis earned on the show. So when Maitlis and Newsnight editor Esme Wren appeared on the cover of the Radio Times in July 2020 and failed to mention McAlister’s crucial role in the interview, McAlister was less than pleased.

In the piece, Wren said: “We have delivered a quite exceptional piece of journalism.”

McAlister received no credit despite initiating negotiations and presiding over the meeting between Newsnight bosses and Thirsk, the prince and his daughter Beatrice.

In her book about the first time she met Andrew, co-authored with Maitlis and Newsnight deputy editor Stewart Maclean, McAlister wrote: ‘I hadn’t slept a wink all weekend. I had prepared, read and talked to people who had met Prince Andrew to gauge how to approach him. Then I had rehearsed possible questions in my head, thought about what the sticking points would be, and played every possible calibration and option.”

Speaking about how she felt erased from the story, a source said: “Sam tried to laugh about it. It seemed very baffling that two women would not mention another, much younger woman in an interview where they were talking about how the interview came about.”

McAlister has now left the BBC, where some of her former colleagues resent her putting herself at the center of the whole affair.

One can only imagine their anger as Scoop triumphs and McAlister gets the sweetest revenge.

Delhi: Fake ghee making factory busted in Dwarka, labels of brands like Patanjali, Mother Dairy and Amul restored

New Delhi: Delhi Police has busted a factory in Dwarka that was manufacturing fake ghee and selling these containers with labels of brands like Patanjali, Mother Dairy and Amul. During the raid, “we found several items for making fake ghee, and there were two people who failed to produce proper documents to run a factory,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) M. Harsha Vardhan.

Teams of the Investigation and Vigilance Units of Dwarka police district conducted a raid in Dichaun Kalan on November 19, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) M Harsha Vardhan said.

The official said that during investigation, police found that the factory owner’s name was Sumit. He has been arrested under the provisions of the Copy Rights Act, Vardhan said, adding that a search is on to nab him.

Police said they recovered stickers of Patanjali, Mother Dairy, Amul and Naksha Dairy Products from the factory. “We have recovered 4,900 wrappers or stickers of different brands, 120 labeled boxes of Mother Dairy, ghee packaging containers, gas burners, vanaspati oil and several other products for making fake ghee,” Vardhan told PTI.

Earlier this month, a 53-year-old man was arrested after a counterfeit ghee manufacturing unit was busted in Odisha’s Ganjam district. The person arrested for allegedly being involved in running it, Epari Rajeswar Patra, was also arrested last year for illegally operating a gutkha manufacturing unit. He was out on bail, police said.

Among the items seized were more than 10,000 empty sachets, three automatic ghee packaging machines, labels of a ghee brand company, 91 cans of rice bran oil, 1,500 cartons and a sealing and grinding machine, police said.

It was found that burnt motor oil, low grade palm oil and hazardous chemicals were used in making ghee, said Superintendent of Police Saravana Vivek M.

The packets of ghee were sold not only in Odisha but also in other parts of the country.
