Kanye West added to his long list of people he’s involved with when he called out Ice Spice just days after ripping Twitch streamer Kai Cenat.

The 46-year-old fashion mogul said on his Instagram Story that the 24-year-old rising rapper had recorded a verse for the new version of his song New Body, but her team decided not to release it.

He took to his Instagram Story to share a text message that read: ‘ICE SPICE SENT IN A VERSE FOR A NEW BODY, NOW HER TEAM SAYS WE CAN’T USE IT’

Ice native Isis Naija Gaston – nor her team have responded to Ye’s allegations.

The song New Body has been in the works for quite some time, as it was originally planned for inclusion on Kanye’s album Yandhi in 2018, which was never released.

The 46-year-old fashion mogul said on his Instagram Story that the 24-year-old rising rapper had recorded a verse for the new version of his song New Body, but her team decided not to release it.

Nicki Minaj was featured on the original version of the song and it was even included on the tracklist for Ye’s collaborative album Vultures with Ty Dolla Sign, which was released last month.

However, the 41-year-old rapper from Trinidad refused to allow the verse to be included on the release.

This wasn’t the first time this happened, as it was previewed at listening parties for Ye’s 2019 album Jesus Is King, but it was ultimately scrapped due to creative differences between the two rap stars.

The song debunked body shaming and the stigma surrounding plastic surgery, but the Jesus Is King version had Christian-themed lyrics.

In June 2020, Nicki had expressed interest in releasing the song after a version was leaked on TikTok, but it never came to fruition.

Just a few days ago, Ye made an astonishing response to American online streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat, accusing the streamer of ‘dissing’ his YZY clothing range, while issuing a warning saying ‘don’t play with me’.

Kanye’s comments came after Kai, 22, was sent clothes from West’s new YZY line, which he tried on for fans during a livestreaming service Twitch stream.

However, after trying on a pair of sweatpants, they were significantly larger than he expected, prompting him to request a smaller size.

Kai branded the sizing of Kanye’s YZY clothing range as ‘crazy’, while demanding a smaller size of the same product because the track pants fell to his ankles.

Kanye fired back while the stream was still going, replying via direct message on Instagram, “Don’t make fun of my clothes. If you don’t say anything about what Adidas is doing.

“When the Vultures song came out, you don’t play my verse. You checked. Don’t play with me,” he added.

This ignited the feud between the pair almost immediately, as Kai responded, “‘Oh my god, what the fuck!’

After reading through it, he was visibly confused by the rapper’s angry response and asked Kanye, “What the fuck did I do?!”

More messages back and forth between them ensued, with Kai saying, “I hear you bro, but there were no jokes when I first opened that package. I immediately showed love.”

The streamer continued, “All I did was try on the sweats, but they didn’t fit. No jokes were made. I immediately asked for a new pair.’

Kanye then responded, “So you’re not doing anything wrong? So I felt like this for no reason?’

Kai then simply responded with a one-word response, writing “Yes,” which Kanye didn’t take too kindly to.

Instead, the rapper accused him of deliberately disrespecting his new clothing line: ‘F**k you… You were told to diss my sh**. You’re a pawn.’

The feud between the pair comes after Kai was released from police custody just hours after he was arrested for inciting a riot in New York City’s Union Square on Friday, August 4, 2023.

Cenat was seen leaving the police station with security in tow, but made no comment to reporters standing by.

After the riots, the NYPD arrested 65 people during the chaos that unfolded in Manhattan.

SMARTPHONE owners have been warned about a new wave of scam calls using artificial intelligence to imitate familiar voices.

According to a recent blog post from Keeper Security, cybercriminals are now using AI to trick victims into divulging personal information.

Known as deepfakes, this cloning technology works by replicating the voices of friends, family, and even customer service representatives.

HOW DO AI VOICE SCAMS WORK?

AI voting fraud is based on a two-step process: vote cloning and social engineering.

First, scammers acquire a sample of the voice of the target’s loved one.

This can be done in a variety of ways, including recording a phone call, extracting audio from social media posts, or even synthesizing speech from text messages.

With the voice sample in hand, scammers use AI voice cloning technology to create a near-perfect replica.

This is thanks to deepfake technology, which can analyze the pitch, cadence and even emotional inflections of the voice.

Once the voice is cloned, the scammer initiates the social engineering attack.

They call the target and use the cloned voice to build trust and rapport.

In some cases, the scammer claims to be a family member who is in a bad financial situation and needs money for an emergency.

In grandparent deepfake scams, the bad actors even pose as a grandchild under arrest and say they need money for bail.

A look into the world of romance scammers who deceive one in three Britons using deepfake videos

They can use details from social media profiles or past conversations to make their impersonation even more believable.

HOW TO STAY SAFE

Although AI voting fraud is a sophisticated threat, there are steps you can take to protect yourself.

The first thing you can do is be wary of unexpected phone calls, as scammers often take advantage of the element of surprise.

If you get a call from an unknown number or a known number with an unusual story, be careful.

You should not assume that a call is legitimate just because the voice sounds like someone you know.

In addition, if you receive a call from someone claiming to be from a company or organization, hang up and call them back on a number that you know is a legitimate number.

Do not rely on caller ID as scammers can spoof phone numbers.

It can also be helpful to create a safe word with family and friends, Keeper Security noted.

Establishing a secret code or phrase with your loved ones can be used to verify each other’s identities during suspicious calls.

If someone claiming to be a family member or friend can’t give the safe word, that’s a sign that something is wrong.

Many phone carriers also offer call blocking features that allow you to block unwanted calls.

Additionally, scammers can sometimes collect voice samples from social media posts, so be mindful of what you share online.

And it’s a firm favorite among cat lovers.

The game in question is Stray, a third-person cat adventure set in a dystopian neon-lit city sometime in the future, when humans seemingly no longer roam the world.

Shoppers have spotted the PS5 version in Asda stores for just £5, although it’s not clear if the deal is available in every location.

A bargain hunter in Havant, Hampshire, was one of the first to notice the price drop.

The game usually costs around €20.

“Worth checking if you’re in an Asda,” they wrote on HotUKDeals.

“Great game,” one fan commented.

“Quite literally, the only downside is that it’s too short.”

The story behind Stray

Speaking to The Sun ahead of the game’s launch, producers revealed that the unique idea for Stray came from two artists who were fascinated by Kowloon Walled City, a densely populated enclave that was once in Hong Kong.

Inside the new PS5 video game Stray, where you can play as CAT

They imagined how the densely packed high-rise homes would be the perfect playground for a cat.

“Being cat owners and cat lovers themselves, it really started to take a precise shape in their minds when they did this,” Swann Martin-Raget said at the time.

One of the features Stray is praised for is its attention to detail, which came about when developers spent time researching cats in detail, looking at things like how far or high they can jump.

Awards won by Stray

  • Best Sound Design for an Indie Game – Game Audio Network Guild Awards 2023
  • Best Debut – Game Developers Choice Awards 2023
  • PlayStation Game of the Year – Golden Joystick Awards 2022
  • Best Independent Game – The Game Awards 2022
  • Best Debut Indie Game – The Game Awards 2022
  • Most Innovative Gameplay – The Steam Awards 2023

“They immediately press the power button on the computer, just as you are about to save your work,” Swann explains.

“They also start meowing when you have an important call, but apart from the jokes they really help us because they are a constant reference, so it is very useful for us to see them moving around the office and handling different items when you’re actually working on the game animations or sounds.”

Stray was such a hit that a film based on the video game is currently in the works.

In the video you see Sam driving to Asda late at night.

“These cost £7.50 at Asda, but I can sell them for £30 on Amazon and make over £20 profit each,” he said.

As he walked to the till he added: “I've cleared Asda of all his Lego, all on sale, and I think I'll make about £400 profit.”

Sam explained that his money-making hack had only taken him a few minutes as he loaded the boxes into his Mercedes.

Amazon FBA is a service that online sellers can use, where Amazon takes care of the storage, packaging and shipping of your products.

So all Sam has to do is send the products from Amazon and wait for the money to flow in.

The side hustle professional revealed he spent around £250 on the Lego, and thinks he can sell everything for £700, meaning he will have made a £400 profit.

Sam's video has clearly struck a chord with viewers, as it has already been viewed more than 670,000 times on the video sharing platform.

'Living in Asda is so underrated, I don't understand how good and affordable it is,' claims the woman, plus the part you forget but need to check

TikTok users rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on Sam's “easy money” hack.

“They have to pay more now so you can make a profit.”

Another user said: “So you make money by letting parents buy toys at a higher price on Amazon?

“Aren't you ap***k?”

A third person commented: “Good job mate. Making life harder for people”.

A fourth person wondered: “What about families and people with young children who might buy it to save money?”

However, some people praised Sam for his side hustle.

One user said: “I love it”.

Another person added: “amazing.”

TikToker Sabrina (@this.is.sabrina) shared a video of her friend using a grain scoop.

“Abe was Amish. I love the way he thinks,” she captioned the video, which has since been viewed more than 14 million times.

In the video, titled “Amish Snow Shoveling Technique”, Abe creates blocks of snow with his shovel and then removes them block by block.

“I find this strangely relaxing. Birds and horses in the background,” Sabrina wrote.

People in the comments section were curious about the trick and said the shovel must be heavy to handle.

“Am I the only one wondering how heavy those shovels must be?” someone asked.

Sabrina responded and said they weighed 15 to 20 pounds each.

“Well damn. I did it wrong,” said another.

“Me too! I was so fascinated by this just to hear that so many people are already doing it this way,” Sabrina replied.

“Wowwww. That's brilliant and amazing too,” wrote a third.

GAMERS are rushing to Argos after discovering an 'amazing bargain' that sees a game essentially free to play.

Consumers have noticed that you can add any of the three titles to your cart at no additional cost when you purchase a pair of Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers.

In November, the Japanese gaming giant announced that more than 132 million Switch devices have been sold worldwide, making it the company's best-selling home console ever.

The Switch was first released in 2017.

So if you've had yours for a few years, a new set of Joy-Cons might come in handy before the battery life diminishes.

They cost £59.99 at Argos as part of this offer, which is the usual price you'll find at most other retailers.

“This is a great bargain,” wrote one user on HotUKDeals.

“I needed replacement controllers so the extra game was a bonus,” said another.

A third commented: “Great price on Metroid, excellent game.”

The three games you can choose from are:

  • Metroid anxiety
  • Everyone 1-2 switch!
  • Bayonette 3

Which game should you choose?

Having trouble deciding? Here's an overview of each of the games on offer.

Metroid anxiety

Metroid Dread is an action-adventure game released in 2021.

You play the role of a bounty hunter named Samus Aran, who tries to escape a deadly alien world plagued by a mechanical threat.

Bayonette 3

Bayonetta 3 is a 2022 action-adventure hack and slash title, eight years after the last award-winning game.

You return as the titular angel-hunting witch who now faces man-made bioweapons called Homunculi, as well as an enemy called the Singularity that threatens to destroy the multiverse.

Everyone 1-2 switch!

Everyone 1-2 switch! is a party video game released in 2023 that challenges players with a series of mini-games.

Up to eight people can participate using the Joy-Cons with crazy moves, or up to 100 with activity and trivia-based tasks on smartphones.

The most expensive of the bunch is Metroid Dread, which normally costs €37.99.

Bayonetta 3 normally retails for £29.99, while Everybody 1-2-Switch! currently costs €19.99.

However, stock of the games is running out quickly, so you should check if there are any games available to collect from your local Argos store.

All prices in this article were correct at the time of writing, but may have changed since then.

Always do your own research before making a purchase.

“There is simply no provision in the Geneva Conventions for what Israel is doing along the border, which is a kind of pre-emptive eviction of property,” he said. Professor Rajagopalan expert in law and development at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

“On a specific property-by-property basis, Israel can take action, but not on a widespread basis across the border,” Professor Rajagopal said. “Israel, as an occupying power, has a duty not to engage in what is called wanton destruction of property.”

The Israeli military did not respond to a request for comment on the claims.

The United States on Tuesday reiterated its opposition to any buffer zone within Gaza. “We do not want to see the territory of Gaza diminished in any way,” John F. Kirby, a spokesman for the National Security Council, told reporters at the White House. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken added during a news conference in Abuja, Nigeria, that the Biden administration may be open to “transitional arrangements.”

Although Israel has never formally announced the demolition of Palestinian border homes, the concept of a buffer zone along the Gaza border has been widely discussed in the Israeli news media since early December. Reuters reports this.

Israeli ministers have also hinted at plans to create such a zone since the first weeks of the war. Eli Cohen, then the secretary of state, said that after the war “the territory of Gaza will also decrease.”

Days later, Avi Dichter, the Minister of Agriculture, spoke of creating “a margin” along the Gaza border. “No matter who you are, you will never be able to get close to the Israeli border,” Mr. Dichter said.

With her designer coats selling for as much as £2,000, you wouldn't have thought Jade Holland-Cooper was short of a few bumps.

But the Princess of Wales's fashionista favorite – pictured below in one of her creations – has a habit of selling her second-hand clothes online, even though newly filed accounts show her business makes £4million in profits a year.

The 37-year-old is using website Depop to clear out her wardrobe, selling Gucci slippers she wore just once for £129 and J Brand jeans for £69.

Gwyneth's warm glow

If you thought wellness guru Gwyneth Paltrow was running out of “health ideas,” you're seriously mistaken. The Goop founder has discovered a new fad, and it's not about drinking bone broth or following a five-step yawning routine as she previously recommended — it's all about the magic of… color. The 51-year-old sings the praises of color therapy, which supposedly uses light and color to improve health. When the Hollywood star wears an all-red ensemble, as here, the color apparently contributes to the qualities of 'warmth, strength, creativity and passion' of her channel red. Who knows?

The supermodel issued a pretty stern warning to those in her inner circle last week, sharing this quote: 'I used to rush to defend myself against false accusations, but NOW I look to see who believes it, SO I know who to cut away first.'

The post came shortly after it was revealed that the 53-year-old was one of several celebrities who had previously flown on pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's private jet – known as the Lolita Express – although she denies knowledge of any wrongdoing.

I know from personal experience the absolute joy that can come from sorting your life out.

If I’m trying to get ready for work and the kids off to school while stuff is everywhere and the house is in chaos, I feel stressed and trapped. When my house is organised, however, I feel calmer, and more in control.

Living in a busy household with five kids and two dogs, and with both me and my husband, TV presenter Joe Swash, working full time, we need to keep on top of things as much as possible.

We do this by decluttering regularly, by having systems for organising every room in the house and by sharing a cleaning schedule that we try to get the kids on board with so that everyone in the family is involved.

Or at least, that’s the plan!

Cleaning queen: Stacey Solomon helps families declutter in the BBC series Sort Your Life Out

Like us, the reality for most families is that both partners are going out to work every day, and the last thing you want to do in your spare time is sort the mess.

As a result, the average home contains thousands of items that aren’t really needed, and living among all this clutter can make you miserable and put a terrible strain on your relationships.

When helping families to declutter their homes and revamp their lives on my BBC series Sort Your Life Out, which sees us completely empty the family home so they can see how much stuff they really have, all too often I’m told how the levels of disorganisation are a constant source of unhappiness and arguments.

But it doesn’t have to be like that. For me, organising and cleaning is better than any type of yoga or meditation for lowering stress levels — and seeing them realise that, too, is the best therapy of all.

One family we helped, Londoners Tash and Lawrence Cherrett-Yaku and their four children, had amassed an astonishing 1,567 books, nearly 3,000 toys, 23 pairs of swimming goggles, 11 old mobile phones, 225 DVDs and more than 60 obsolete chargers. After a huge and emotional clear-out, Tash described the experience as ‘a game-changer’.

Because whether you’re tackling your entire home, a ‘room of doom’ that’s become a dumping ground or a single junk drawer, the point of decluttering is to free up space — but also to unburden yourself from the weight of too much stuff.

Organising your home will give you back not just physical space but also time, energy and freedom.

And it’s amazing how much satisfaction can be had from something as simple as washing away a bit of grime, making your bed, restocking the fridge or neatly organising your sock drawer.

Decluttering has a host of other benefits, too: finally being able to invite friends round because you no longer feel embarrassed by the mess; carving out a dedicated space where you can indulge in your hobbies; or having fewer arguments with your partner over who lost the remote. It’s also likely to put a little money back in your pocket.

When you can see what you have — whether it’s pairs of pants or packets of pasta — it means you won’t overbuy in future. But the Sort Your Life Out process goes beyond putting labels on shelves, jars and boxes (although that’s pretty essential).

It’s about giving every room a clear purpose, making sure every item has a designated place and establishing systems within the home so that everything functions as it should.

So, visualise how you would like your home to look and put our three-step Strip, Sort and Systemise plan into action. It’s time to make your dream home a reality — and stop feeling suffocated by your own stuff.

Here, me, Dilly Carter, Robert Bent and Iwan Carrington share our top tips on how you can sort your life out…

GOLDEN RULES FOR DECLUTTERING

ONLY KEEP WHAT YOU CAN STORE:

We ask families we help on Sort Your Life Out to let go of at least 50 per cent of their possessions. Base the number of items you decide to keep on the space you have to store them comfortably.

HAVE A VISION FOR YOUR SPACE:

Keeping a clear goal in mind makes it easier to stay motivated. This could be a photo clipped from an interiors magazine or an inspirational picture from the internet.

SET A CLEAR DEADLINE:

If you have a couple of hours free, focus on sorting out the bathroom, editing your wardrobe or sifting through the kids’ toys. With a spare 20 minutes, declutter and organise a single kitchen drawer or cupboard. Larger spaces such as the loft or shed will take longer, perhaps an entire day or weekend.

GIVE YOURSELF A REASON:

Understanding how the process is going to change your life for the better will make it more likely you will finish the task. It might be that you’d like your kids to be able to invite their friends over without feeling embarrassed, you’d like to rediscover a hobby you once loved, or that you’ve lost your confidence and want it back.

WORK AS A TEAM:

If you’re tackling the family home together, make sure everyone participates. If you live alone, buddy up with a friend whose opinion you trust. A fresh pair of eyes can see the practicalities and possibilities of your space.

STEP ONE: STRIP

On the show, we strip people’s homes right back to the bare bones and transport all the items — from the biggest super-king bed to the smallest toothbrush — to a 10,000 square metre warehouse for sorting.

Obviously, you can’t do this at home. So rather than attempting to empty out all your possessions, it’s fine to start small and keep things manageable.

You could start with a single drawer, a kitchen cupboard or wardrobe, or you might plunge in and tackle one whole room.

Whichever space you choose, keep in mind that once every item is laid out across the floor, it’ll take up a surprising amount of space.

As you pull items out, try to put them into categories (don’t worry; you’ll do more sorting in stage two) whether it be clothes, toiletries or electronics.

Lay everything out in the largest clear space that you have – this could be over your bed, across a kitchen island, on the living room floor or (on a dry day) even out in the garden.

Next, take the opportunity to give the empty room or space a thorough deep clean, including walls, windows, floors, units, shelves, inside cupboards and all surfaces.

Don’t forget light fittings, blinds, radiators, skirting boards, door handles and light switches. These are the most-touched items in any room, so are prone to getting dirty and oily.

STEP TWO: SORT

Now it’s time to sort your stuff. The aim is to choose to keep only what you really need or absolutely love —and get rid of the rest.

Start by laying down a dust sheet to give you a clean surface to work on. On the show, we mark the floor with yellow lines to clearly show where one category ends and another starts. If it’s helpful to do the same, mark out areas with strips of masking tape.

Next, you need to decide what to do with each item in each category, based on four options: keep, sell, donate or recycle. It’s sensible to leave all the ‘keep’ items in situ on the floor.

With everything laid out, you can clearly see what you’re holding on to and you might revisit some of your decisions later.

Have a cardboard box each for ‘sell’, ‘donate’ and ‘recycle’, and put things straight in the box once you’ve decided it belongs there.

If you’re the kind of person who is likely to backtrack and pull things out of piles, then this out-of-sight, out-of-mind approach may be best.

Ease yourself in by starting with a category that ordinarily doesn’t have a lot of sentimental meaning attached, such as odd socks or nail varnishes.

If you feel you’re going to struggle emotionally when it comes to items such as photographs, souvenirs and even kids’ toys, leave those categories until last. By that point, you’ll be in the letting-go groove.

For Stacey, organising and cleaning is better than any type of yoga or meditation for lowering stress levels

By now you’ll have already cleared and cleaned your space, so you’ll have an accurate idea of what proportion of your stuff you can comfortably store, be it 50 per cent or 30 per cent.

Let’s say that you’ve gathered up all your cookbooks, dusted the bookshelf and have calculated that the shelf can hold 25 books: that’s your target. If you’ve got 50 cookbooks, then you’ll need to lose 25. Never keep more than you can store.

Maintain focus on that goal. Think of it as choosing your top favourites in that category. Set a number, stick to it and opt to keep only those items that add value to your life.

This is when you need to get a little ruthless and start to pare back your possessions. Continually ask yourself: Do I need it? Do I use it? Do I love it?

Never have a ‘maybe’ pile. If the answer to any of these questions is no, you know what to do.

TOP TIPS FOR SORTING:

1. Create capsule wardrobes in both your and your children’s bedrooms, get rid of multiples or duplicates and check the use-by dates of toiletries, cleaning products and perishables.

2. Let your child decide which toys they love the most, play with and want to keep. You may be surprised at their choices.

3. When it comes to sentimental items, remember it’s better to have a few cherished items on display so you can enjoy them than a trunk full of possessions that never see the light of day.

4. If you’re struggling, take the ‘ex test’. Imagine you’ve had a messy break-up and never want to speak to your ex-partner ever again, but this particular possession is still at their home. Ask yourself this: would you go through the agony of calling them to get it back? If you wouldn’t, then it goes.

HOW TO STAY ORGANISED – FOR GOOD!

1. After your epic declutter, set your family the challenge not to buy anything new — other than the absolute essentials — for one month.

2. Implement a one-in, one-out policy. If you buy new bath towels, for example, that should be because your existing ones have worn out and can go — don’t hang on to them ‘just in case’.

3. If you’re going to use something only once — be it a dress or a DIY tool — consider renting or borrowing it. Useful libraries of things are popping up all over the country.

4. Every six months, put a date in your diary to declutter again. You need to regularly revisit what you’re keeping and reassess whether it’s time to let go.

5. Keep your clothes clutter-free by placing a basket in the bottom of your wardrobe, then drop in any clothes that you didn’t enjoy wearing or decide you no longer like.

6. Keep a checklist of household chores to be done daily, weekly, monthly, six-monthly and yearly. Make a ‘chipping-in’ rota for the whole family.

STEP THREE: SYSTEMISE

This part of the process is the most important — and the most fun. But it’s not simply a case of putting your whittled-down possessions back into your home where you stripped them from.

Without introducing proper systems, it’s likely old habits will creep back in — along with a load more clutter. Before you know it, you’ll be back where you started. So start by ‘zoning’ your home.

Even when a room has to be multi-purpose because of limited space, creating a designated zone for relaxing, eating or playing will keep each area distinct.

You can create separation by using a partition, room divider or other piece of furniture, such as bookshelves, or use colour to subtly mark the shift between one zone and the next.

Next, give each item a designated place in its zone. This way, it’s more likely to be returned there, not just by you but by every other household member.

And next time you need it, you’ll know exactly where it is. Room by room, here’s how to systemise your home:

MASTER BEDROOM

Consider an ottoman bed that can store items you don’t use every day, and invest in extra hanging rails, drawer dividers, baskets and boxes.

You can make your own multi-tiered hangers using ring pulls from drinks cans. Slide one end over one hanger and then slot the hook of a second hanger into the other hole of the ring pull, so you can double-hang garments in your wardrobe.

When hanging clothes, arrange them from heavier outerwear down to lighter garments. Always organise by type, not colour; it might look nice but it’s not practical.

Sort clothes in drawers so the items you wear most frequently are at the front. And fold your smalls so they take up less space.

KIDS’ BEDROOMS

Group clothes as you would in your own bedroom. Labelling is a great idea as it encourages children to dress themselves and put their own clothes away. If yours are very young, try using picture labels.

Ask your child to choose the toys they most love to hug and gather them in a handy ‘cuddle basket’. Another way of saving space is to fill a bean bag with soft toys, so it doubles as storage.

KITCHEN

Have you heard of the kitchen work triangle? It’s the design principle that gives you the most efficient workflow by arranging the hob, fridge and sink in a triangle. So if moving your fridge would improve the layout, do it!

As the kitchen has to house a lot of stuff, finding nifty ways of fitting more into the space is key.

Consider every available area from floor to ceiling and stock up on storage aids, including multi-tier plate racks, over-the-door pan lid racks and a Lazy Susan turntable.

Organise your fridge using dishwasher-safe drawer dividers and labelled storage containers, keep all the same food types together and arrange perishable items in date order, oldest at the front.

LIVING ROOM

Play around with the layout of the furniture, focusing on what your primary needs are for the space.

Display your most cherished items. These might be photographs of loved ones, children’s artworks or souvenirs from foreign travels. Consider bespoke shelving to properly display your favourite possessions.

If you don’t have a separate playroom, use a foam mat or rug to make a designated ‘play’ zone.

TOP TIPS FOR CLEANING YOUR HOME

Stacey advises to always clean a room from the top down, so if you dislodge dust that then settles, you won't need to clean it up twice

Stacey advises to always clean a room from the top down, so if you dislodge dust that then settles, you won’t need to clean it up twice

1. Always clean a room from the top down, so if you dislodge dust and dirt that then settles, you won’t need to clean it up twice.

2. If your carpet has been indented by furniture, pop an ice cube on to the crushed carpet fibres and leave it to melt. As it does, the carpet fibres will swell and regain their shape.

3. To remove any sticky residue left on furniture, such as from kids’ stickers, warm the area using a hairdryer to make it easier to scrape off.

4. To freshen up a mattress, vacuum it and then sprinkle bicarbonate of soda over the entire surface. Leave it for an hour to allow any smells and moisture to be absorbed. Vacuum the mattress again, then rotate and turn it over.

5. For DIY toilet fresheners, mix one cup of bicarbonate of soda and half a cup of citric acid with essential oils, such as mint, orange or lemon. Pack the mixture tightly into silicone moulds and leave to set at room temperature.

6. To degrease your oven, put a dishwasher tablet in the trays and pour boiling water on top. Leave this to work its magic for an hour or so. The tablet will break down fat as it dissolves. You can use another tablet to scrub away grime on the oven door.

7. Make your own eco-friendly cleaning wipes by mixing equal parts water and distilled malt vinegar with a squirt of washing-up liquid. You can add a few drops of lemon juice, too. Add a handful of reusable bamboo wipes to the liquid and pre-soak them before using. They can be washed and reused up to 120 times.

8. Get crayon off a wooden table by giving the wood a light sanding before applying a coat of tung oil, which is food-safe and doesn’t discolour. For ballpoint pen marks, hairspray can be really effective: spritz a little on and then, working fast, rub with a lightly coloured cloth. Always do a patch test first.
