The crash occurred on a downhill slope and while McCutcheon was driving at a high rate of speed, she lost control of the steering wheel, unable to reach for her brakes, causing the 19-year-old to fall face first into the bottom of a sand hill.

The impact knocked her unconscious, but after regaining consciousness, McCutcheon managed to crawl to the top of the sand hill to call for help, as no one had witnessed the crash.

Paramedics then treated her and McCutcheon was rushed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital where she underwent nose surgery after falling in and out of consciousness for an hour and a half.

The rider, from Queensland, Australia, was left black and blue after crushing her nose, breaking both eye sockets, the left cheekbone, the left jaw and her upper jaw – the main facial bone.

She is set to undergo further surgery to treat her facial injuries, with McCutcheon saying she is ‘thankful to be alive’ after revealing her helmet saved her life.

McCuthceon shared an update on Instagram and thanked those who came to her aid.

She wrote in the caption: “Grateful to still be here🤍

“We have yet to find out what cut my face as it is still unknown. This is as much information as we can gather from what we know as I don’t remember anything and no one has really seen much of it. But thanks again for everyone who messaged or called me.

“Especially to everyone who helped me during my incident, I would like to thank you all more than anything!!

“There was definitely someone by my side that day and I’m just blessed to be here. Enjoy each day as it comes.

“I’ll keep everyone informed!”

McCutcheon’s horror crash comes just a week after fellow motocross star Jayden Archer, 27, died after pulling off a dangerous trick during training.

New Delhi: David Warner ended his glorious red-ball career with a match-winning 57-run knock against Pakistan in the third and final Test match of the series at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney on January 6. As the legendary leadoff hitter walked back, he kissed his helmet and gave it to a lucky fan in the stands.

The video of David Warner’s latest strike in Test cricket is now going viral across the social space. Fans are fast[idly sharing Warner’s video on the internet. Warner is one of the most loved cricketers and his fans are not missing the opportunity to shower endless love on him at this moment.

Though Warner fell when Australia were 11 short of the target after being trapped lbw by off-spinner Sajid Khan, the left-handed batter had done enough to ensure a comfortable win, getting a standing ovation from the crowd and end his Test career on a high as Australia achieved a 3-0 series sweep over Pakistan.

“It’s pretty much a dream come true. Win 3-0 and cap off what’s been a great 18 months to two years for the Australian cricket team. On the back of the World Test Championship win, Ashes series draw and then the World Cup and then to come here and finish 3-0 is an outstanding achievement and I’m just proud to be with a bunch of great cricketers here.”

“These guys they work their backsides off. The engine room, the big three quicks plus Mitchell Marsh. They work tirelessly in the nets and in the gym and credit to them to stay in the park, the physios, the staff that are behind that is outstanding. Look at them, they’re amazing. And I don’t have to face them ever again in the nets. Which I don’t do anyway. So that helps,” said Warner to host broadcasters after the match ended.

Warner finished with 8786 Test runs at an average of 44.59, and a strike-rate of 70.19 with 26 Test hundreds and 37 fifties, and also won the ICC World Test Championship 2023 title. “(This morning was) Just a casual walk up to the local cafe and get a cup of coffee with the young one. I just got into the car and packed a wine or two. Shouldn’t say that too loud, I’ll get in trouble.”

“I felt happy and really, really proud. And just to come here in front of your home crowd with the support that they’ve shown me and the Australian cricket team over the my last decade or my career, I can’t thank them enough. Without you guys we aren’t able to do what we do and it’s really really much appreciated.”

“We’re in the entertainment business and I’m just happy to come out here and showcase what I try to do all the time. I started with T20 and tried to come out here and tried and emulate that but I tried to play my shots, go out the way that I have played. And yeah, managed to get a win on the board which is great,” he added.

Warner had also said that it was the end of his ODI career, where he made 6932 runs at an average of 45.3, with 22 ODI hundreds and 33 fifties, including winning the Men’s ODI World Cup title in 2015 and 2023.

“I think it’d be quite emotional to watch the guys go out there (in their next Test against the West Indies) and not play and knowing that I was able to come out here and do what I could do. But as I just mentioned you got a great bunch of cricketers here. We are all almost over 30 years of age. So as time goes by, we’re not getting younger, but this team, they’re energetic, they’re world class and they’re a great bunch of guys.”

“(I would like to be remembered as) exciting, entertaining, and I hope I put a smile on everyone’s face with the way that I played and hopefully the young kids out there can follow in my footsteps. White-ball cricket to Test cricket. It’s the pinnacle of our sport. So keep working hard to play the red-ball game because it’s entertaining as well,” he concluded.

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands smiled today during a visit to a construction site on Campus Werkspoor in Utrecht.

The fashionista, 52, deviated from her usual style and instead arrived prepared for the service in a white belted coat and hard hat.

It appeared that the royal family was present at the industrial estate – which houses large office spaces and meeting rooms – to oversee the ongoing construction work.

She was dressed for the weather and wore a long wool coat, brown high-waisted palazzo pants and black thick leather boots.

She completed the look with a chunky cream scarf and a small black leather handbag, complete with a wooden handle at the top.

Queen Máxima put on a construction worker this afternoon during a visit to a construction site in Utrecht

Under the winter coat she wore a cream-colored blouse with long sleeves.

Her luscious blonde locks seemed slightly tired under the hat, which was to be expected after the operations meeting.

For her make-up, the Queen consort – by way of marriage to King Willem-Alexander, 56, – opted for a subtle foundation and an application of black liquid eyeliner.

She was photographed putting on a lively show as she dealt with the day’s events.

The royal family was also seen attending the various guests on the grounds of the venue.

The Queen wasn’t all business, however, and was seen looking typically elegant while attending a Christmas music gala last week.

She radiated refinement when she arrived at the Spant performing arts theater in Bussum on Thursday.

The mother of three wore a floor-length blue satin skirt, which she paired with a light blue blouse.

To add even more glamour, Maxima paired her ensemble with a blue diamond necklace and matching earrings.

She added height to her body with light blue heels and she carried a matching clutch bag.

Her blonde locks were pulled up into a stylish bun, while her glamorous makeup enhanced her flawless facial features.

The royal family beamed as they walked the red carpet into the hall to watch the festive performance.

Kate Middleton looked in her element as she donned a helmet to hop on a mountain bike in Scotland this afternoon during a visit to Prince William.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay during their visit to Scotland, will spend the day in Burghead, Moray and Inverness.

As she stepped out of the car at their first stop at the charity Outfit Moray, which offers outdoor learning programs to young people, the princess, 41, oozed elegance in a khaki tartain print quilted jacket.

She wore the jacket over a black turtleneck, black trumpet jeans and chunky boots, and styled her thick brunette locks in loose waves.

Meanwhile, Prince William, also 41, looked sharp in a khaki jacket and navy trousers.

The Princess of Wales, 41, rocked chic attire as she arrived in Scotland with Prince William this afternoon

The couple’s visit today has three destinations; Outfit Moray, Brodieshill Farm and DAY1’s mentoring charity.

Outfit Moray offers young people from the area accessible and affordable outdoor learning workshops.

The aim of the work is to encourage the generation to get outdoors, help them develop life skills and improve their mental and physical health in the process.

The charity particularly helps children aged eight to 18 who are vulnerable or from disadvantaged backgrounds. Since its inception in 2003, Outside Moray has worked with over 16,000 young people.

Activities in which the charity involves young people include mountain biking, paddle sports, rock climbing, archery and bushcraft.

It also runs a number of programs in local schools, such as bicycle training, bicycle maintenance and first aid programs.

Brodieshill Farm is a family business where Lower Speyside Young Farmers come together to meet the Royals.

Representatives from Farmstrong Scotland also talk to Their Royal Highnesses about how the organizations are supporting the mental wellbeing of young people in rural communities across Scotland – and local farmers in particular.

Lower Speyside Young Farmers is run for young people from all backgrounds aged 14 to 29 from across the area, providing opportunities for socializing and interaction in what can sometimes be an isolating environment.

The group recently took part in the ‘Are ewe OK’ campaign led by the Scottish Association of Young Farmer Clubs, which encourages members to talk about mental health and break the stigma and taboo associated with it.

The couple’s third and final involvement of the day is with the Inverness charity DAY1, which provides mentoring, training, personal development and employability services to vulnerable young people.

The charity aims to equip its young people with the social and emotional skills to succeed in life through mentoring and personal development programmes. This allows participants to build self-reliance and self-confidence and identify their own interests, giving them a clear direction in their lives.

The charity also owns and manages the social enterprise Inverness Kart Raceway, which serves as the location for its Automotive Skills apprenticeship programme.
