Queen Máxima of the Netherlands smiled today during a visit to a construction site on Campus Werkspoor in Utrecht.
The fashionista, 52, deviated from her usual style and instead arrived prepared for the service in a white belted coat and hard hat.
It appeared that the royal family was present at the industrial estate – which houses large office spaces and meeting rooms – to oversee the ongoing construction work.
She was dressed for the weather and wore a long wool coat, brown high-waisted palazzo pants and black thick leather boots.
She completed the look with a chunky cream scarf and a small black leather handbag, complete with a wooden handle at the top.

For her make-up, the Queen consort – by way of marriage to King Willem-Alexander, 56, – opted for a subtle foundation and an application of black liquid eyeliner.
She was photographed putting on a lively show as she dealt with the day’s events.
The royal family was also seen attending the various guests on the grounds of the venue.
The Queen wasn’t all business, however, and was seen looking typically elegant while attending a Christmas music gala last week.
She radiated refinement when she arrived at the Spant performing arts theater in Bussum on Thursday.
The mother of three wore a floor-length blue satin skirt, which she paired with a light blue blouse.
