The Princess of Wales and Duchess of Edinburgh are said to share a strong friendship, a connection that is even reflected in their fashion choices.

The similarities in their attire – from corresponding trouser suits to synchronized dresses – represent a remarkable bond that goes beyond personal style.

Since marrying into the Royal Family, Sophie, 59, much like Kate, 42, has cemented her position at the heart of the Monarchy, having been adored by both the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

Sophie not only served as a pillar of support to the Queen following the death of her husband, but she also spent time with Kate during the early stages of her relationship with William, offering guidance as she began her royal journey.

Despite their 17-year age gap, Sophie has forged a close alliance with Kate and mirrored her sartorial choices on several occasions, including state occasions and more informal appearances. 

The duo’s unbreakable bond was evident at the 2023 Buckingham Palace Garden Party, when they stepped out wearing carefully coordinating ensembles, adorned with ruffles and bows.

Inspired by the Lebanese label’s resort 2019 collection, Kate’s bespoke Elie Saab two-piece comprised an elegant pussy-bow blouse and dobby tulle skirt, created in an exquisite powder blue hue.

The royals’ coordinating aesthetic was also evident when they stepped out wearing glittering Erdem dresses in 2017 and 2023 respectively.

Seemingly drawing style inspiration from Kate, Sophie frequently replicates the Princess’s looks at royal engagements.

The royals have both worn Roksanda’s coveted Luna dress – Kate choosing a buttercup yellow version for the 2022 Wimbledon Women’s Singles Final and Sophie opting for classic navy during her visit to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2023.

Cut to a calf-skimming length, the skirt is adorned in pleats for fluid movement, while the bodice features a bow-like fold at one shoulder.

The ladies heightened their outfits with neutral accessories: Kate choosing white Gianvito Rossi pumps, while Sophie complemented her look with pale pink Penelope Chilvers wedges.

Additionally, at last year’s Not Forgotten Association Garden Party, Sophie replicated the outfit Kate wore to the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012.

New Delhi: The Congress Party is gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and as part of the process, it will launch its campaign next week. In particular, the party aims to connect with a wide range of voters across different age groups and effectively convey its message to the target groups. Furthermore, they have enlisted the help of two reputable companies to manage their promotional content and billboards.

The Congress party has moved away from conventional tactics and plans to adopt a unique media strategy, focusing on promotions at the local level to rival the BJP’s well-planned advertising campaign. The report states that Congress will also put up billboards promising a legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers. Earlier, during the farmers’ ‘Delhi Chalo’ march, the party announced that it would provide farmers with a legal guarantee of MSP if they voted for power.

The grand old party will prepare its manifesto with special attention to farmers and youth. The manifesto is being prepared in line with Rahul Gandhi’s slogan ‘Jitni Abadi, utna haq’, the report said. The Congress has promised to conduct a nationwide caste census if voted to power, claiming that it would be conducive to policymaking for people who belong to different communities based on their population.

It is striking that the mega alliance has not yet announced its prime minister candidate. Earlier in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won 303 seats, while the Congress and its allies won 52 seats.

The Ted Lasso cast traded their red carpet looks for matching tracksuits after the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

While reuniting at an afterparty on Saturday, February 24, the cast wore custom navy blue Nike tracksuits. The outfits, with red and white trim details, also feature the AFC Richmond logo in honor of the show’s fictional football team.

Cast members like it Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed And Phil Dunster were all smiles as they posed in their matching ensembles.

Ted Lasso received four nominations on Saturday, including Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series (Waddingham) and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series (Goldstein and Sudeikis), but the awards went to The bear, Ayo Edebiri And Jeremy Allen Whiterespectively.

Although Waddingham, 49, did not take home any prize, she did take part in the iconic ‘I Am an Actor’ segment at the start of the evening and recalled playing the Lady of the Lake in the West End production by Monty Pythons Spama lot.

Sunset's Jason Oppenheim is not dating Genie Bouchard, an insider has confirmed – with the former tennis pro doting on Christie Brinkley's son Jack.

Speculation went into overdrive earlier this week after the real estate agent, 46, and the sports star, 29, both revealed they were wearing matching Prada loafers in photos shared to their Instagram accounts.

The image showed their feet touching each other as they showed off their designer shoes in the backseat of a car.

Naturally, it didn't take long for reality TV fans to wonder if the duo were an item.

“Does Jason have a new love interest?” one Reddit user asked, alongside a screenshot of the photo.

Jason and Marie-Lou's relationship was prominently featured in the seventh season of Selling Sunset, which was released in November.

However, the former couple had split long before the series was released and released a joint statement to announce their 'amicable' separation.

The couple started the new year in style on the Caribbean island of Turks and Caicos, with his mother, Christie, 62.

The former model is clearly a fan of her son's girlfriend as she shared photos of the couple putting on a fun show on the beach.

In one photo, Genie, who wore a mismatched purple bikini top with pink bottoms, kissed Jack, with their faces obstructed by his sun hat.

Genie and Jack initially sparked dating rumors in August 2022 while vacationing together in Miami, Florida.

However, it wasn't until last September that Genie made their relationship public when she posted a photo of herself kissing her other half.

She captioned the intimate photo simply: “Baby boy.”
