Josh Brolin stripped down to his underwear and took a cold plunge while hosting the newest episode of Saturday Night Live.

The 56-year-old performer – who recently garnered attention for writing a poem for Timothee Chalamet –  began the show by speaking about how, the first time he served as a host of Saturday Night Live, Adele was featured as a musical guest. 

‘Now she’s a global superstar. The second time I hosted, the musical guest was Gotye, and now he’s just someone that I used to know,’ he quipped.

The performer then made a reference to his role as Thanos in several Marvel Cinematic Universe entries, and stated that the character had ‘a scrotum chin that snapped all the population into dust.’

Brolin also revealed that he wrote poems about all of his costars, and recited one he had penned about his Dune costar. 

He said of the actor: ‘Your cheekbones jut toward what are youth eyes that slide down a prominent nose and on to lips of a certain poetry. I mean, it’s weird, yeah. But I – no, I don’t want to sleep with him.’

After he stated that hosting the program ‘is like jumping into an ice bath, you know. Scary, it’s exhilarating, your penis is in your stomach,’ he then jumped into an ice bath, after which he concluded his opening monologue.

The first sketch of the night took place in a Chase bank, and a robbery started while a couple attempted to deposit a check.

Heidi Gardner’s character then bent over, and Brolin’s asked the robbers if he would have to ‘watch helpless as you have your way with my supple wife?’

Brolin and Gardner’s characters then tie themselves up, and the latter told the robbers: ‘You probably are going to take my chick in the back and lay her on a bed of quarters and make a smut film in the vault. You make me sick.’

Brolin and Gardner then strip down to their underwear, and the former quips: ‘Isn’t it your lucky day? We just opened up our marriage.’

After one of the branch workers encourages the couple to ‘shut up so they can rob us in peace,’ an accomplice of the robbers walked in, and Gardner called him a ‘barely legal Latino.’

Brolin and Gardner’s characters then strip down before the police arrive, and another branch worker shoots down the idea of filming them with the officers.

The next skit takes place on a flight to Phoenix, during which a passenger refused to buy a pair of headphones and sang about watching Josh Brolin’s screen for the length of the ride.

The passenger then crooned that, as his ‘Kindle is dead,’ he would have to be ‘raw-dogging this flight.’

Brolin, who was watching the Brad Pitt film Ad Astra, attempted to pause his movie before being stopped by the passenger, and he then sang: ‘His breath is on my neck, I can’t keep watching like this, I go to turn off the movie, his hand grabs my wrist.’ 

An air marshal portrayed by Kenan Thompson then interrupts the number and belted pout: ‘If your Kindle is dead and you’re raw dogging this flight, then you will watch what he watches, the man to your right.’

The third sketch took place at a ‘people pleasers support group’ and focused on a group of individuals who have become terminally scared of conflict.

When Brolin’s character told everyone that he tried breaking up with his girlfriend, he stated that the split ‘Went really well. I proposed, and we’re getting married. Is that good?’

Another member showed off a tragic haircut and the leader stated that she ‘knew it was bad immediately, but you just watched them do it and then you said I love it, thank you.’

Ariana Grande, who also served as the evening’s musical guest, showed up late to the meeting and stated that she got hit by a car, and I was like, oh, my god, I’m so sorry, car, I hope you’re okay.’

She then revealed that she was only staying at her job for health insurance, and although she attempted to roleplay an exit from the company, it completely backfired.

The meeting ended with a group prayer, during which they recited: ‘God, grant me the serenity to say no, but if you’re too busy with heaven, then no worries. Amen. Or ah-men, whatever you prefer.’

The next sketch was set during a wine and cheese night, and a cat named Tiger cuddled up on Brolin’s lap as he spent time with his friends.

The Dune actor’s character then stated that he had been ‘closing down nursing homes and turning them into top golfs’ before turning his attention back to the cat.

After Tiger hopped into another friend’s lap, Brolin told the cat’s owner that his pet was  ‘a s***, busting it open for every lap at this lame-a** wine and cheese night.’

The actor’s character then admitted that he had been farting all night and pulled Tiger back into his lap, after which the cat bit into his arm and opened up a sizable wound.

When one of the hosts told him to go a hospital, they pulled knives on each other, after which the sketch concluded.

The fifth sketch took place in Vienna in 1893 at a ball and Kinski, played by Brolin, told his friends he was planning on winning the affections of a duchess with a tower of shrimp cocktails.

The duchess arrived at the party and began to flirt with Kinski, although she began to worry him after she started dancing closely to his arrangement.

Brolin’s character abruptly pushed the duchess out of a window and rationalized his actions by stating: ‘We must protect the shrimp tower at all costs.’

The duchess attempted to climb back in before Kinski hit her in the head with a bottle, and although she barged in looking worse for wear, she stated that she was impressed by the shrimp tower and wanted to marry him.

Kinski celebrated by eating a shrimp by the tail and accidentally knocked over his tower in the process, after which he jumped out of a window while his friends raised a toast to the happy couple.

The sixth routine of the evening took place on a Jerry Springer-esque show, during which a woman revealed her suspicions about her husband’s infidelity.

Although the audience was initially rooting against the husband, it turned out that he was a quadriplegic, after which many of the show’s attendees began leaving the room.

The quadriplegic then revealed that he broke his neck and became wheelchair-bound after performing oral sex on his wife and said that he began losing weight after she stopped feeding him regularly.

The group began discussing a paternity test, and it is then revealed that Brolin’s character is not the father of his wife’s half-Black baby. 

After all the guests left the set of the program, Brolin’s character celebrated by spinning around in his wheelchair.

Grande then took to the stage to perform her new track We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love), which was featured on her newly-released album Eternal Sunshine.

The 30-year-old singer performed her song on a set designed to look like an old  living room, and she began by pretending to change a television channel.

The hitmaker donned a fur coat on top of a black dress during the show, and she also sported a patch on top of her left eye.

The set’s background changed over the length of the song, and Grande finished up in a snowy version of the first set.

A fake PBS special hosted by Ken Burnt was focused on an older version of the 2001 film Moulin Rouge!, and Bowen Yang and Grande began by performing an awkwardly paced medley of love songs.

The melody finished with the happy birthday song, and Burnt stated: ‘They knew they could get the rights to happy birthday, so they fell back on that a lot.’

After Grande’s character coughed up blood into a napkin, Yang commented that the action was ‘movie for dying’ before they started up with another bad medley.

Brolin arrived on set and quoted Lady Marmalade before Grande’s character almost died again, although she was instantly revived for another medley.

The next sketch took place in an office building, and a group of workers lamented being stuck in a four-hour meeting before being interrupted by Brolin as ‘Tommy Fling, the sandwich king.’

When the workers shut down his offers to sell them sandwiches, he began staring wistfully into the distance while Billie Eilish’s track What Was I Made For? played in the background.

After the workers let him know that their accounting group would be ordering from an Indian restaurant, a montage of the sandwich maker’s life began playing before it was revealed that Tommy had been singing the song out loud.

Tommy then offered the group sandwiches for free after the pizza they ordered did not show up, although it turned out that his food is covered in mold, and one of the workers appeared to seize up after taking a bite.  

Grande then returned to the stage to perform her new track Imperfect For You, which was also featured on Eternal Sunshine.

The Nickelodeon alum had changed into a flowing dress that changed color along with the set of the show.

She also and tied most of her hair back into a loose bun, although much of it fell onto the sides of her face as she performed for her fans.

Grande concluded her second performance of the evening while being surrounded by digital fireflies.

The final sketch of the evening took place in a sports bar, and a group member announced that she had paid for the whole table after they finished their food.

She then realized that she had tipped on top of an automatic gratuity and began attempting to erase the markings on her receipt, violently shaking the group’s table in the process.

The character also made several references to sleeping with Brolin and admitted: ‘I just ate 32 habanero wings. I’m not riding you.’

A waiter then made it to to their table and told them to leave, as one of the members of the group had been stealing soap from the restaurant’s bathroom. 

The episode ended when Brolin hugged Grande and special guest Scarlett Johansson, who appeared in the program’s cold open, and thanked Lorne Michaels for making Saturday Night Live into ‘the greatest show on earth.’ 

Jackie 'O' Henderson has undergone a dramatic weight loss transformation in the past year.

The radio titan chose to show off her new killer curves on Thursday when she visited Clovelly Beach in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

The 49-year-old looked fit in the seaside playground favored by influencers and former reality stars.

For her fun in the sun, Jackie wore a navy blue ensemble, which consisted of a low-cut bikini top with white trim that showed off her ample bust.

She completed the look with a modest skirt and wore a white knitted cardigan over it.

Jackie has lost a whopping 18kg in less than a year and recently revealed exactly how much she weighed before she decided to start her weight loss journey.

She made the confession on The Kyle And Jackie O Show after the radio program welcomed a caller who weighed 185 lbs.

Curious news anchor Brooklyn Ross turned to Jackie and asked her, “You know what the biggest thing is [you weighed] used to be?'

“The largest was 80,” she replied.

Jackie's confession comes after she once had to deny that Ozempic was behind her spectacular slimming.

Ozempic, an appetite suppressant previously used to treat type II diabetes, has seen an increase in prescriptions for obesity in recent years and is now used by many celebrities to maintain a slim figure.

Jackie has always maintained that she achieved her weight loss by participating in WW (Weight Watchers), for which she was an official ambassador.

But speculation revived after WW, led by CEO Sima Sistani, began embracing semaglutide drugs like Ozempic.

Reacting to the news about The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Jackie exclaimed, “Makes me feel like I was definitely on Ozempic!”

She jokingly added, “I was like a guinea pig in that experiment.”

News anchor Brooklyn Ross then asked Jackie if she was “annoyed” that she had to lose weight “the hard way” instead of just popping a semaglutide for a quick fix.

“I mean, they make a good point and I'm really impressed that they're moving with the times,” she said.

“You see so many people doing it and being successful, and for them it's not that hard.”

Solange Knowles looked beautiful for the Harper's Bazaar's March 2024 Legacy Issue, which was released on Tuesday.

Knowles shared that she is confident as an artist, noting, “There are very few regrets I have in my career.”

However, the artist did admit that she missed the opportunity to work with Katt Williams, recalling, “I went to his show, went backstage to ask him. To be honest, I found the ball awkward. But he is unique.'

The artist also said she enjoys glassblowing, which she said “is about creating a spirit in an object.”

And she tries out tuba music.

“I started writing music for the tuba, and I'm trying to talk myself into releasing it, but I can only imagine the eyes rolling when people say, this motherfucker hasn't made an album yet,” she says. said.

The hitmaker concluded by telling the media exactly what drew her to tuba-based music.

'It sounds like what the belly feels like to me. There's a way in which it takes up space that you can't deny, and it just feels really black to me too,” she said.

Victoria Beckham cheekily poked fun at husband David as he stripped off for an ice bath at their Cotswolds home on Sunday.

The former footballer, 48, revealed on Instagram this weekend that he spent the morning in the cold as he posed in his outdoor spa.

Dressed in just a pair of white knickers and a beanie, the father-of-four filmed himself shivering as he lay in his ice bath, which is said to ease sore muscles and boost the immune system.

He captioned the post: “Self Care Sunday. 3 degrees here today, perfect for a Sunday rest day @victoriabeckham can I have a HOT CHOCOLATE with a Nespresso shot sorry Victoria just said “what's the magic word” PLEASE.'

Victoria then poked fun at his skimpy pants as she jokingly replied, “As you so kindly asked and I'm just wearing your tight white pants [sic].'

David undoubtedly needed to rest his muscles after putting eldest son Brooklyn in his place with a workout video on Thursday.

The athlete lived up to his heartthrob status when he showed off his toned, tattooed physique while doing push-ups shirtless.

David uploaded the video after his son Brooklyn, 24, gave insight into his own gym routine as he did a series of chest flyes with his personal trainer Chase Weber.

The Inter Miami owner, who often roasts his sons on social media, grinned cheekily at the camera as he pressed dumbbells.

Victoria also got in on the action when she shared an insight into her vigorous five-day workout routine on Saturday.

Victoria, who is known to only eat fish and vegetables, gives more insight into her beauty secrets, which include ginger shots and green juice.

She explained how she starts her day with a “few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar on an empty stomach.”

Then her husband David helps her prepare a “green juice” consisting of “broccoli, spinach, cucumber, celery, apple, ginger, lemon and lime.”

The former footballer could be seen chopping the ingredients neatly into pieces before putting them in the blender.

Victoria revealed that she enjoys a post-workout smoothie after a training session, with protein powder, nuts and fresh fruit.

Finally, she rounds off her evening with 20 minutes of reading “to end the day.”

Victoria captioned her post: “My skin health routine. Victoria's extreme diet has made headlines over the years, with Rio Ferdinand previously giving insight into her eating habits.

Rio replied, “I've never seen her eat anything. To be honest, I can't remember anything that comes to mind.'

But this isn't the first time Victoria's diet has been discussed, with the fashion designer becoming infamous for being a picky eater.

Husband David gave insight into Victoria's eating habits while discussing his own favorite foods during a podcast interview.

'I get quite emotional when it comes to food and wine. “When I eat something great, I want everyone to try it,” he said.

'Unfortunately I'm married to someone who has been eating the same thing for 25 years!

'Since I met her she only eats grilled fish [and] steamed vegetables. She will very rarely deviate from that.'

In July, Victoria responded to this admission by telling Vogue Australia that her husband made her taste sound “boring,” when in fact she fills her diet with “healthy fat” and does regular detoxes where she abstains from drinking alcohol.

She said, “I mean, if you're talking about me sounding boring! No. What he meant is that he has never met anyone who is more disciplined in the way he eats.

'I eat a lot of healthy fat: fish, avocado, nuts, that kind of thing. I do drink alcohol unless I have a reason not to.

'I detox everything I don't drink for three to six months. I'm quite extreme in everything I do, whether it's eating or exercising, drinking or not drinking.'

Chef Gordon Ramsay opened up about her “disciplined” taste in 2011, when Victoria was pregnant with daughter Harper.

Clearly not allowing her pregnancy cravings to deviate from her strict diet, Gordon recalled asking for the smoked trout salad and asking for it plain with the dressing on the side.

According to the menu, the dish is normally served with grapefruit, avocado, red onion and lemon, but Victoria requested that these be removed.

Fellow celebrity chef Dani Garcia also spoke about her food choices and described her “strange” dinner desires when she attended Sergio Ramos' wedding in 2019.

Dani recalled how Victoria carried coconut water “all the time” as well as bowls of mints, calling the habits “strange” in an interview.

Speaking about what it was like to cook for the designer at the June 2019 wedding banquet near Seville, Dani said on Spanish TV: 'It was very strange. Victoria Beckham has changed the entire menu.

'It was very sad, because when you put so much effort, not only me and my team, but also the bridal couple and everyone else have put together a unique menu.

'Her's was completely different and based only on vegetables. And then there were some strange things that I have never seen in my life.

“She had coconut water all the time, a bowl of mints and on the other side hydroalcoholic gel, which is very famous now but wasn't then because the Covid pandemic hadn't started yet.” It was complicated giving Victoria her menu that night.”

Andrea McLean stripped naked in the shower while her husband Nick Feeney hilariously recreated an iconic Christmas movie for an Instagram video.

The former Loose Women star, 54, who quit the show in 2020, reenacted the film Elf with Nick, starring Zooey Deschanel (Jovie) and William Ferrel (Buddy the Elf), four years ago and posted the clip again on Thursday.

Nick turned into Buddy while Andra stood naked in the shower, like in the movie, and sang along to Baby, It’s Cold Outside.

She captioned her post: “It’s that time of year again for our tribute to our favorite Christmas movie ‘Elf’ starring Buddy.

‘This was filmed and edited four years ago by my (then) 13-year-old daughter Amy.

Merry Christmas everyone! *and yes, I wore a cozzie in the shower’.

Earlier in February, Andrea said she was “bedridden” after “three months of absolute exhaustion” as she detailed her health problems on Monday.

The TV personality admitted it was ‘one step forward and three steps back’ for her health and was ‘pending blood tests’.

In a lengthy post on her Instagram, she explained that she had gone to support ex-co-star Brenda Edwards at an event marking the one-year anniversary of her son Jamal’s death and fell ill shortly afterwards.

Andrea uploaded a photo of herself from the event and wrote: ‘Things I did this week to fill my cup that had nothing to do with work…

‘1. I went out with @nickfeeneycoach to support my dear friend @brendaedwardsglobal on the one year anniversary of her son Jamal’s passing. It was a beautiful, moving evening.’

She continues: ‘Unfortunately, I had trouble sleeping in bed for three days afterwards. I had pushed myself to the limit that day in the gym, which was too much for my tired body.

“So another episode of one step forward, three steps back. I’m now waiting for blood tests to see why I’ve been sick for so long – it’s over three months of absolute exhaustion. The thinking is that it is Covid/autoimmune related. It’s annoying!

‘2. Luckily I was well enough to get dressed and take my mother out on Friday for a pampering day as a late Christmas present. So nails done and off to our local Ivy for a late lunch. It was really delicious.

‘3. Yesterday we went to Mom and Dad’s for a late lunch, with them and mutual friends.

‘It’s been a lot of fun – and it’s lasted three decades: we’re in our 50s, our friends are in their 60s, mum and dad are in their 70s! How did that happen?

‘4. We went for a walk, our usual Sunday thing. Here’s to a happy, healthy week ahead. What did you do this week to fill your cup?’
