Since Prime video revealing that they are one Carria TV modification, I have experienced eagerly. The recent announcement of the casting has only made me more excited, such as Shout And Five nights at Freddy‘s Star Matthew Lillard gets in the shoes of the well -meaning director of the horror story, Aka Mr. Morton.
I am so excited to see that Lillard takes over a character who has taken many forms of the original Stephen King-Roman and the film Classic from 1976 over the years to the non-so-good 2013 retelling. It will be interesting to see if they are sticking to the novel or changing his character.
I already had high expectations of this project, that has Netflix Horror lover Mike Flanagan at the helm. He is known for his successful horror series such as Hill House’s spooky And Midnightso I expect his Amazon TV assumes one of King’s most iconic works to be a hit of a small screen again.
Who will appear even more in Amazon’s Carrie TV -adjustment?
In addition to Lillard, there are countless famous faces to appear.
To begin with, Cult of Chucky‘S Summer Howell gets in the shoes of the titular telekinetic teenager. Merging is Samantha Sloyan, who recently played The Pittaka one of the Best max -showsAs Carrie’s dominant and godly mother Margaret White.
Other names are Alison Thornton such as Chris Hargensen, ie the popular schoolgirl and Carrie’s Major Bully, Amber Midthunder as gym teacher Miss Desjardin and Thalia Dudek, Josie Totah, Arthur Conti and Joel Oulette in supporting roles.
We still don’t know much about this project, but it is likely that we will spend a lot more time getting to know these characters, because Flanagan can do much more with a TV remake than, for example, the two-hour runtime of a film. I hope it is a horrible Giller who will earn a place on us Best prime video shows list in due course.
