SMALL living does not always mean a lower price tag, according to a woman in Scandinavia.

She lives in a small house in Norway and says her most expensive purchase was a $4,000 toilet, but she insists it was all worth it.

Nadia (@tinylivingscandinavia) filmed the bathroom of her residence in a video on TikTok.

“Would you like to see the most expensive purchase we made for the tiny house?” she said.

She filmed the 'throne' of the small house – the actual toilet.

“Before we got our tiny house, I had my heart set on this exact toilet model and I'll tell you why,” she said.

She said the functionality of the bathroom addition sold her.

“I knew I wanted an incinerator toilet because it means you don't have to hook up a blackwater system, which makes owning a small house and moving around much easier,” she said.

“So the way it works is you open the lid like a regular toilet.

“You take one of these waxed paper bags specially designed for Cinderella.

'You then add it to this section here. You do your thing, close the lid, press the flush button and then it gets to work. To burn.

“So the way it works is actually similar to a tea kettle. There's an element in there that heats it up to a very high temperature, which turns everything into fine ash.

I bought a small off-grid hut from Amish people – they taught me their trick of lighting a fire to keep it warm

“And then you empty it every few weeks, and you're good to go,” she added.

The Cinderella Burning Toilet costs about $3,900, according to Nadia.

The video attracted many viewers who shared their thoughts in the comments section.

“We have this in our cabin,” one TikToker commented. “It really is just perfect.”

“Isn't it normal?” Nadia wrote back. “Perfect for cabins and small houses.”

“So it's basically just ash when you empty it?” another asked about the toilet.

“Really,” Nadia replied. “I didn't believe it until I saw it.”
