During a Q&A to his 246,000 subscribers, he was asked which, in his experience, were the best and worst countries to visit around the world.

Ben came third in the best countries he has ever visited, choosing Australia, where he lived for six months. He described the country as ‘incredible’ and said ‘it has everything you need’.

For his second favorite country, Ben chose the Philippines, which he said encompassed everything from the picturesque beaches to the abundance of mountains in the north of the country.

When it came to choosing his favorite spot, the vlogger chose Japan because of the “cultural shock, friendliness of the people, cleanliness and safety.”

However, he did warn viewers that he felt the country was “too expensive” based on the time he spent there.

Ben went on to name the countries he would never want to visit again, saying he would “never go back to Egypt,” labeling his trip there a “nightmare.”

He added that crime and personal safety were both major problems when he visited the capital Cairo and Siwa, along with “scammers, touts and dead animals everywhere.”

Ben ended by saying that Brunei was also a country he wouldn’t visit again anytime soon, as he found ‘there’ [was] there is nothing to do there’ due to its small size as an island of only 5,765 square kilometers.

Answering another question in the video about how to overcome the fear of traveling, he said: ‘It’s difficult, you go to a hostel and there are a lot of foreign people, you are a foreigner yourself and it’s really difficult, honestly.

“But once you get over that fear and talk to people and realize that you’re all the same, that you’re all doing the same thing, you’ll meet some incredible people and overcome that fear.”

He ended the video by talking about the progress he has made, explaining: ‘I got to the point where I was moving to a new hostel and I was looking forward to it – you meet some incredible people and every hostel you is going, will continue. .

“I was terrified at first, but you overcome that fear the more you do it and the more you get involved and talk to people.”

The comments praised the YouTuber’s honesty, writing: “It’s hard to believe Ben was ever scared” and “It’s people like you who make this a beautiful planet, honesty is always the best policy.”

Others added: ‘Ben’s videos are less sugary and more raw travel, it’s rare to see content like this these days’ and ‘I like these types of videos more than the actual travel videos. Interesting to know about the difficulties of traveling etc.’.
