DJ Mallorca Lee has revealed he has months to live after being diagnosed with terminal illness cancer.
The frontman and founder of ’90s electronic band Ultra Sonic, 51, took to Facebook on Tuesday to share the devastating news with his loved ones and fans.
He apologized for not telling all his family and friends individually, admitting he was still “processing” and that his “heart was broken a thousand times.”
The Scottish DJ wrote: ‘I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer, the doctor said it could be a matter of months.
‘I apologize for not telling all my family and friends individually. It breaks my heart a thousand times and I don’t have the strength to go through it again and again.

‘I love you all, the last ten years have been the best of them all, it’s been truly amazing.
‘Forgive me if I don’t answer your calls and messages, I’m still processing, even this message feels like someone else wrote it…
“Love, that’s all we ever really have, our only true currency, so tell the people around you what they mean to you, every day. LOVE LOVE LOVE Mall.”
Messages of support have been pouring in for him, including from close friend and Radio Clyde presenter George Bowie, who said: ‘This is absolutely devastating news. I can’t tell you how devastated I am by this.’
Ben Nicky commented: ‘Mall, it was an absolute pleasure working with you back in the day, your energy and smile are truly infectious. I’m so sorry to hear this and I’m sure it’s a confusing and scary time.
‘We all have your back and if you need anything, just let us know. Stay strong buddy, keep your family close and keep smiling, you legend.”
