I got my dream wedding dress from Vinted for just £50 – the back was beautiful

A VINTAGE fashion lover bought a wedding dress for just £50 on a popular second-hand site.

Belita Benech bought the beautiful dress on Vinted for her civil ceremony in Paris and only combined it with a beautiful bouquet and dainty sandals.

The dress, which featured a satin gown and a cross back, was a showstopper that spoke for itself.

Belita took to TikTok to brag about the moonshot discovery, sharing clips of the ceremony and her husband leaving the registry office.

“You bought a wedding dress on Vinted for €60 for your civil wedding,” she wrote.

“And it looks fire.

“I mean, look at the back.”

The dress had a draped style with two long satin flaps that floated down the back to tie it in place.

It comes as mum-of-one Charlotte Pickering scored a stunning Vera Wang dress for £200 on Vinted.

The 29-year-old was left speechless when she tried it for the first time and documented the moment on TikTok.

“I think if it doesn't fit now, it's really not far off,” she said.

Charlotte admitted that buying a wedding dress she had never seen in real life was “a really stupid or a great” idea.

But she was right when she took the plunge and scored 'the bargain of the century'.

Vinted is fast becoming the most visited second-hand app, overtaking Depop and eBay.

But more attention also comes with greater risk, meaning fraudsters find it easier to sell counterfeit items from 'Dolce & Banana' and 'Luis Vuitton'.

In Britain it is a criminal offense to sell fake or counterfeit goods, but that hasn't stopped cybercriminals.

Fortunately, there is still hope.
