SNOOKER is BACK again and with more silverware on the line at the 2024 Welsh Open.
Robert Milkins won last year's event, beating Shaun Murphy 9-7 in the final as Ronnie O'Sullivan crashed out in the quarter-finals.
Llandudno will host again after doing so for the first time in the competition's history last year.
Will Ronnie O'Sullivan play at the Welsh Open?
Ronnie O'Sullivan does NOT Take action next week at the Welsh Open.
The Essex star was due to play Scot Liam Graham in a postponed pre-qualifier on Monday, February 12.
However, he announced on February 10 that he would not be able to play, starting his battle with anxiety.
a rack from O'Sullivan read: “Good morning guys, just wanted to let you know that I have decided that I cannot play in Llandudno next week.
“It's hard to explain, but I've been suffering from stage fright for years, caused by anxiety.
“It's not something I can predict or control, but I try to deal with it as best I can.
“I'm sorry to everyone who bought tickets, but I can't give my signal when I'm feeling this way and I'm thinking this [is] what is best for me at the moment.
“I still want to be at the tournament so I'm going to do some work for Eurosport and I hope to see you all there.”

When is the Welsh Open 2024?
- The Welsh Open starts on Monday 12 February and ends on Sunday 18 February.
- The tournament will be held at Cymru venue in Llandudno, marking only the second time the competition has not been held in Cardiff or Newport.
