What is the difference between Red Nose Day and Comic Relief?

Comic relief is a charity which was started by Richard Curtis and co-founded by Lord Lenny Henry.

Red Nose Day is one fundraising all-day event that people and celebrities are encouraged to attend collect donations for Comic Relief.

This could include a bake sale, a sporting challenge or wear red clothes to school.

Every year the charity encourages people to do just that buy one of their famous red noses, who change their style every year.

Red Nose Day ends with the Comic Relief telethon.

This live show is presented by Lord Lennyand he joins my many famous faces for an evening of fun and fundraising.

There will be comedy sketches and live performances throughout the night, with viewers encouraged to donate to Comic Relief charities.

Viewers are also shown how the money raised annually is spent.

Is Red Nose Day every year?

He said he would resign because “it’s time for someone else to take the reins.”
