Why Is Kim Kardashian ‘So Protective’ Of Khloe Kardashian?

Kim Kardashian got real about life in the spotlight — and explained why haters attack sister Khloe Kardashian gets under her skin.

“Khloé gets a lot of s—t,” Kim, 42, revealed on Wednesday’s June 21 episode of Hailey Bieber“S”Who’s in my bathroom?” YouTube series. “And I just get so protective of her because I feel like she’s getting the worst of it.”

The Skims founder confessed that “it’s so frustrating” to publicly ridicule Khloé, 38, over the smallest things. Throughout her career, the Good American co-founder has come under fire for her dramatic weight loss, failed Photoshop, and ever-changing facial expressions.

“People never want to take a second to say, ‘She’s human,'” Kim said of her sibling, adding, “Occasionally I clap back.”

Kim — who shares children North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4, with ex-husband Kanye West — pointed out that she picks her moments when shutting down trolls.

“I always have the facts. I have so many receipts on recent things,” Kim joked. “Believe me, I’m in family chats and I’m like ‘Should I hit the red button?’ Everybody says, ‘No, no, no!’ When it happens, I can’t control myself [so] I just try to stay zen.”

The founder of KKW Beauty noted that her self-control is partly due to how long she’s been in the spotlight.

“With age, you just don’t care as much as you used to. When you have kids and you have a business… you have to stand up for people. All those other things are noise,” she told 26-year-old Bieber. ‘People want to believe what they want to believe and you can’t change that. It’s about finding your inner peace and being okay with that.”

When it comes to Khloé, Kim isn’t just her defender, she’s also a matchmaker who set up the former revenge body host with actor Michael Morrone last year.

“I think that’s so cute of Kim that she had plans and plans to get me to meet someone here in Milan,” Khloé said in Our weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of the Thursday, June 22 episode of The Kardashians. ‘Really and truly. Thank you, Keeks.”

In the clip, Khloé recalled her first interaction with Morrone, 32, and revealed she met him last fall at the Dolce & Gabbana show in Italy. Khloé initially sparked romantic speculation with the 365 days star in September 2022 when she was seen socializing with the model backstage at the fashion show and later hanging out at the D&G after party.

“They were both at the Dolce & Gabbana show and the fashion brand asked them to take a picture together. He thought [Khloé] was a lot of fun,” a Morrone rep shared Us at the time, which confirmed that they were not dating. “That was the extent of their interaction.”

Khloé, for her part, has remained tight-lipped about her love life after breaking up Tristan Thompson in 2021. The exes share daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 10 months, who they welcomed via surrogate after their breakup.
