“We are daycares, of course we don't fart and blame the kids,” she wrote over a TikTok. video.

She and her colleagues revealed even more things they encounter every day, including having the kids get their hair “done” every ten minutes.

They also have the difficult job of picking everyone's socks off, and they end up “being sneezed on all day.”

They can be assured that they will hear their name “100 times a day”, and when it comes to entertaining the children, they “sing nursery rhymes all day long”.

They also have to deal with the children's toilet times, with one staff member saying: “Of course I just took you to the toilet, but I'll take you again!”

The video ended with another woman saying, “We're daycare workers, of course we stick our fingers in poop when we check a diaper!”

She demonstrated this by holding up a dirty finger but then putting it in her mouth, showing that it was just chocolate spread.

The comments section was almost immediately filled with other nursery employees adding their own input.

“What I liked most about working in a daycare was that I could fart freely and everyone just assumed a diaper was needed,” one person laughed.

“We're daycare workers, of course we're going to say over and over again that we like your painting,” another added.

“I'm a daycare worker… Of course I can identify lost clothes by the smell,” said a third.

“I'm a tree nurse, of course we gossip about other colleagues!” someone else laughed.

Others admitted that the work is a lot harder than people think.

“We are daycare centers, of course we put up with the maximum amount of stress from minimum wage,” one person wrote.

“So many traumatized staff just say it all!” another added.

“It's such a shame because it could be the most fantastic job, but I don't think I could ever go back.”

“It's been almost a year since I left my childcare job,” said a third.

“I miss the kids, but not the stress.”

As someone else commented, “I miss daycare so much. I just don't miss the 50 hour weeks!”
