2 Chainz taken to hospital after car crash in Miami
2 chain z was involved in a car accident, after which an ambulance rushed him to hospital.
The 46-year-old rapper confirmed the incident early Saturday, December 9, via Instagram Story and shared images of the wreck.
In the clip, 2 Chainz (real name Tauheed K. Epps) sat in an ambulance as a paramedic prepared to close the door to transport him to an emergency room. In the background, a black sedan had collided with a barricade on the shoulder of the road. The entire front of the car was destroyed.
A spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed this TMZ Saturday that an accident involving three vehicles occurred in Miami. The outlet reported that 2 Chainz’s car was hit by another vehicle and the musician reportedly suffered neck injuries. According to TMZ, he is now in stable condition.
2 Chainz was in Miami for the annual Art Basel festival and stepped out at a party on Friday, December 8. A few hours later he went to eat in South Beach at Marketplace 119.
“I had to come,” 2 Chainz said in an Instagram Story video on Friday. ‘I can just pick something fresh and you make it here? You know I like it here. … I do [that] seafood. I don’t eat beef or pork. I like seafood.”
2 Chainz rose to fame as a member of the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle Count “Dolla Boy” Conyersbe signed Ludacrisrecord label in the early 2000s. He later landed a solo recording contract with Def Jam in 2012 and has earned six Grammy nominations for his music. He also owns several restaurants and nail salons.
“My dad sold rocks and he sold weed. My mother’s mother, she was an illegal lady. My mother was into real estate when I was young,” he said XXL magazine in March 2022 about his entrepreneurship. “Dad never had a job. I don’t remember him getting up early. I never remember him complaining about being stuck in traffic because he came home late from work. I don’t remember anything about that. I remember Cadillacs and I remember my uncle having a lot of jewelry.

He added at the time: “I had an uncle who owned a liquor store. He employed all my uncles. A lot of those things were just things that I unconsciously peeked at. Like how you can do it yourself. I’m also a busybody. So I know that just rap money wouldn’t be enough for me. I had to try to find multiple streams of income. Just trying to diversify my portfolio.”
2 Chainz is married to Kesha District since 2018 after proposing at the Met Gala in May. 2 Chainz and Ward, who have been together since 2006, share three children: Heaven, Harmony and Halo.
