Instead, she shared her cheap and cheerful beauty tip that she claims will keep your lips looking 'kisable' no matter your age.

In a clip posted to TikTok (@vicky.derosa), the ageless beauty named Vicky begins, “I'm 59 years old and this is my best anti-aging hack.”

And according to the age-defying 59-year-old, it's so good that the “billion-dollar anti-aging industry doesn't want you to know about it.”

She continues, “People always ask me what I use on my lips – and what kind of lip gloss I use.

“I don't use lip gloss…I'll put on a liner and a few types of lipstick – that's what I would do.

“But right at the top, to keep them moist and shiny and to make it look like lip gloss, I applied coconut oil.

“Yes, you heard me right! I used coconut oil instead of lip gloss.

“And the thing is, it helps keep lips really moist and makes you look kissable.”

Coconut oil can be purchased for as little as 19 cents and according to the experts Healthlinehas many beauty benefits for dry skin.

“The main benefit of coconut oil is its moisturizing effects. This makes it ideal for chapped lips,” say the experts.

My hair was falling out in clumps every day, but that stopped after a month of using a DIY scalp oil made with £2 from the supermarket.

“Your lips are particularly susceptible to moisture loss because the skin is thin and they are exposed to the elements more than other parts of your skin.”

They further note that coconut oil is used to treat burns because of its moisturizing and analgesic properties – adding that the same effects are beneficial for cracked lips.

The medical professionals also point out that coconut oil is considered an emollient, which are “non-cosmetic moisturizers that help keep the skin moist, and are used primarily to protect the skin.”

They point out that they work by retaining moisture in your skin and tend to work best after a bath.
