And Alan, 47, took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo of himself and his long-time friend, singer Adele, taken on the night in question.
Alan’s new toyboy hairdresser, 27-year-old Callum Heslop, took the photo, with his face visible in the mirror.
Adele, 35, looked stunning in a black camouflage jacket with white tracksuit bottoms as she leaned into Alan.
Alan wore a brightly colored shirt after taking off the suit he had worn on stage for his one-man show.

Adele and Rich were rumored to have tied the knot last year and she confirmed the union at her best friend Alan’s comedy show in Los Angeles, with two audience members confirming the news to Deuxmoi.
An onlooker explained: ‘I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone had gotten married recently and Adele shouted, “Yes, I have.”
Another audience member added of the ‘small and intimate show’: ‘When he asked if anyone had gotten married recently, she shouted “Yes, I have.” Super cute all around and was super sweet, but popped up right before it ended.’
They added: ‘Adele sat right behind me with a friend and had the best time. Her security only came by to bring her snacks.
‘She didn’t care if people knew she was there. She harassed him, they are best friends.”

Meanwhile, Alan’s new love comes almost two years after his split from husband Paul Drayton, and Callum has taken time off work to smooth over celebrity clients to accompany him.
Callum is a celebrity hairdresser and colourist who owns a salon in Knutsford, Cheshire, and has over eight years of professional salon experience.
He has high-profile Instagram followers including Alan’s good friend Amanda Holden, Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan, Charlotte Dawson and Love Island’s Molly Smith.
A source told The Sun: ‘They have a really nice friendship and that has been the basis for a relationship to blossom.’
The insider continued, “He meets celebrities through work, so he’s not impressed.
‘It takes a lot of effort to introduce a partner to someone as famous as Adele, but she couldn’t have been nicer.’

Alan has been spotted on a series of recent outings together with Callum, with the pair becoming Instagram official.
The comedian shared a photo of himself partying with salon owner Callum at Mariah Carey’s Christmas concert on social media on Monday.
Alan also posted a photo of Callum posing with his hand on his knee as they joined their friends at a lavish dinner in August, while they also hugged at the Attitude Awards in recent weeks.
During their last outing together, Alan looked casual in jeans and a red shirt as he threw his hands in the air and appeared to be having the time of his life while performing.
Callum looked trendy in a black and white jumper and jeans as he smiled next to Alan on the fun night out.
The pair have been spending time together in recent months, with Callum taking to Instagram to share a photo of him and Alan at the 2023 Attitude Awards.
He wasted no time throwing his arms around Alan, who had dressed up as Michael Cera’s character Allan from the Barbie movie to present the awards.
The pair were also spotted with a group of friends in August when Callum featured in a group photo from a sushi restaurant, which Alan shared on Instagram.

News of Alan’s new romance comes after he and his estranged husband Paul announced their separation in January 2022, after 13 years together and three years of marriage.
Despite saying they are still friends, Paul recently slammed Alan for claiming he won ‘custody’ of their friend Adele – who married the couple at her California home in 2018 – amid their ‘ messy divorce’.
In June, Paul – who previously remained tight-lipped about the divorce – stated that Adele is ‘closer to me’ following Alan’s comments on an episode of 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown last August.
Speak with The sun on SundayPaul said: ‘Adele is one of my best friends and the truth is she was closer to me than Alan. The comments he made were in bad taste. To be honest, they really upset me because there was also the suggestion that I was being greedy.
‘I texted Alan afterwards and said, ‘This isn’t okay, it’s upsetting me and it’s upsetting my mum’.” He then confirmed that the Chatty Man star was unresponsive.
Paul continued: ‘I sent Adele the same video and she replied, ‘Just take the highway, honey,’ which meant just ignore it. She’s great at giving advice, she really is. I know that when I need her, she will be there for me because she is a loyal friend and an incredible person.”
Alan made the aforementioned Adele comments during an appearance on the Channel 4 comedy show in August, during which he pulled out a series of props cut in half and joked about his ex’s lawyer demanding half of everything.
