Adele has warned fans that her new live concert special will feature moments where she looks “insane” with a “melted” face.

The singer, 35, confessed that her makeup fell off in the intense heat of the Colosseum’s auditorium during the first night of shooting for her upcoming movie special about her Las Vegas residency.

Adele was unimpressed with her “four inch” face powder and concealers peeling off in the tacky atmosphere.

However, she now suffers from near frostbite because she turned the air conditioning down to almost zero to keep cool before and during her 100 minute show.

Speaking on stage at Caesars Palace on Friday night, Adele admitted, “You should have seen how damned I was last Friday night, right?”

The air conditioning was out of order. It had rained, it was damp. My fans didn’t work on my stage. You can’t see them, but they’re built into my stage.”

She continued, “I had no makeup (at this point) on the show. It all melted away and we’re filming this little series of shows. So I looked crazy. I looked like I’d been dragged through a bush twice.”

The singer has told her audience that she spends a few hours doing makeup and costume prep before every performance in Vegas.

Bosses have lowered the temperature in the venue to keep her makeup in place for the remainder of her June shows, which are taped for a scheduled concert and special film.

But the Tottenham charts say the cold air is hard to handle before the show starts.

“So they made the temperatures so cold. I thought I was going to freeze sooner when we came in for a sound check. But it’s getting warmer now that we’re all here and we’re sweating and breathing and being human.”

Adele is on track to earn more money from the taping of her concert movie show than the total earnings from all of her Las Vegas appearances.

Her concert and part documentary from her Weekends With Residency has gone on to earn the singer more than £50 million ($60 million) worldwide in TV syndication or streaming, on demand sales, digital release and CD sales.

That £48 million from 64 nights’ work is dwarfed by the concert film’s payday, which will start shooting in a few days from this weekend (Friday 16 June).

Insiders say Adele and her team learned the benefit of taking over her concert film special thanks to the huge revenue from securing a global revenue-sharing deal for her 2021 One Night Only interview, which sold around the world .

That special, which included an interview with Oprah Winfrey about her album 30, generated sales of around £80 million ($100 million) at the time and from subsequent deals with broadcasters.

Insiders say broadcasters around the world and streaming networks have made huge offers for long-term rights to her Weekends With Residency movie.

After that initial sale, deals are available for digital downloads, streaming, and DVD sales. The Londoner will also continue to make money from sales, long-term residuals and sales, for many years to come.
