Aldi is selling a dupe of Neom's luxury candle for £40 less with hidden bonus feature

An ALDI dupe of a luxury Neom candle has sent shoppers across Britain shopping for a buzzy, £40 cheaper price than its posh equivalent.

The candle comes with a hidden bonus functions the users can't get enough of it.

Facebook page Extreme Bargains UK shared the good news news with his 41,000 followers, along with a photo of a candle dripping wax onto the palm of a hand.

It said: “Aldi is selling a candle that can also be used for massages for just £4.99.”

The “dupe” is very similar to Neom's “true luxury treatment candle for sensitive skin”, which is priced online at £46.

Both are made from candle wax that can be melted and dripped over a person's body and used as a massage oil.

The candle must be lit and the wax liquefied for some time before the user can blow out the flame and pour the oil.

Neom's version of the candle is immensely popular and has received rave reviews from those who have tried it.

One person wrote online that it was “the perfect gift”, adding: “It smells absolutely wonderful and feels even better on the skin”.

This isn't the first time Aldi has produced a candle similar to those already released by a luxury brand – for a fraction of the price.

A customer recently revealed that the supermarket was selling a candle with a scent very similar to Lush's popular Snow Fairy candle, which people say smells like cotton candy.

The TikTok creator said in a video: “POV you run to Aldi to get the Snow Fairy candle dupe.”

Lush's Snow Fairy range has soared in popularity over the years and the brand has expanded its collection to include a candle scent.

Buying the product with four wicks costs £36, but the Aldi version is much more affordable at £4.99.

Aldi also released an XXL Christmas candle that some compared to a candle from The White Company.

Measuring 23 x 23 x 12.5cm, the giant candle can burn for up to 200 hours and is said to “fill your room with wonderful, relaxing scents”.

It has six wicks and “will instantly change the mood of any room, while also serving as a beautiful table centerpiece.”

The best part? It costs £24.99 instead of The White Company's £95 luxury version.

If the smell of freshly baked pastries is more your thing, Aldi's “dupe” of Overrose candles — which sells a range of candles inspired by pain au chocolat, croissants and other pastries — might be for you.

Each of Overrose's candles comes in a pastel colored jar and gives off a lovely aroma – although the £46 price tag can sour the taste.

One smart shopper, TikTok user @AshleighMoneySaverspotted the “dupe” in Aldi and shared her find with her followers.

She said in a video: “Guys, I found the best Overrose candle dupes.

“Now the Overrose ones are £46 but they're going to Aldi because they have dupes for £3.99.”

According to Ashleigh, Aldi's versions smell “just as good, if not better”.
