Alec Baldwin’s brother says he is desperate to work from home outside of ‘war zone’
Alec Baldwin’s brother joked that the star would like to work outside the home so he can escape the “war zone” of domestic life with his wife Hilaria and their seven children.
William and Alec star together in the family film Billie’s Magic World, which was shot in Italy last spring.
He said as soon as filming ended, the 65-year-old asked when the duo would be moving on to another project again.
Speaking at the Taormina Film Fest, 60-year-old William added that his brother “would be back soon” because he “needs to earn money to pay for all his seven children.”

William said the latest film was the first he and Alec had worked on together.
“I’ve done 30 Rock with him a few times, but I’ve never made a movie. So it’s the first time we’re on screen together.
‘It was very fun. We made two movies, not just one, Billie’s Magic World and Kid Santa. He loved it.
‘As soon as he left, [Alec] was like, “Call [director] Francesco [Cinquemani]to ask when I come back.”
‘That’s because he loves Francesco, but probably also because he found out during our stay that his wife was pregnant with their seventh child.
“So he has to come here to get out of that war zone, or he has to come here to make money to pay for all his seven kids… you do the math… he’ll be right back.”
In the film, Alec is the evil Lord Domino and William is his child-grabbing side-kick. The films are a combination of live-action and animation.
Actor Johnny Depp, who has suffered a fall from grace perhaps similar to Alec’s, provides the voice of the child heroine’s toy puffin.
Last week, Alec’s second wife Hilaria wished him a happy 11th wedding anniversary – hinting that she plans to add something to their already large family.

Hilaria, 39, wrote on Instagram: “Happy 11th birthday Jack,” referring to the name of Alec’s character in the sitcom. “Pre kids I would visit you at 30 rock and make fun of you with that hidden closet behind it.
‘You didn’t have any pants… then we had 7 kids. Well, here’s another 11…years…maybe kids too…certainly cats.” Baldwin commented, “18 kids? 18? That’s not a baseball team. That’s a baseball game!!!’
Alec also has daughter Ireland from his first marriage to actress Kim Basinger.
In a June interview with Romper magazine, she said, “Every time I have a baby, my obstetrician writes the vasectomy doctor on a Post-it note and I take it to Alec.” He hasn’t done it yet.

Their eldest, Carmen, was born in 2013, followed by Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo and Eduardo, born in September 2020. Maria Lucia arrived via surrogate six months before their youngest child, Ilaria, was born in September 2022.
In 2020, it emerged that Hilaria was born Hilary and raised in Boston by American parents, apparently playing up her “Hispanic heritage.”
William, 60, added that his brother ‘would be back soon’ as he ‘needs to earn money to pay for all his seven children’
She said on social media that she had a “real sense of connection” with both American and Hispanic culture.
She continued, “The way I have spoken about myself and my deep connection to two cultures could have been better explained. I should have been clearer and I’m sorry.’
Comedian Amy Schumer said in June: “They have a bunch of Von Trapp kids, and they named them all — I’m not sure, but very Spanish names like Jamón, Croqueta, and Flamenco.
And this would all be fine and beautiful, except that “Hilaria from España” is actually Hillary from Boston. This woman is not Hispanic in any way.

The films in Italy marked Alec’s second time on camera following the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film Rust in October 2021.
He made the plane hostage film 97 minutes in the UK in February 2022. It comes out this month.
William told the Taormina Film Festival: ‘It was very lighthearted, loving, positive. We were laughing all the time. It’s nice to have that positive energy.’
All criminal charges against him in connection with the fatal shooting have been dropped.
Prosecutors said they would continue the investigation and charges could be brought again.
At least five civil charges against Alec Baldwin and the producers of Rust are still pending.
