The man who allegedly shot and killed Comanchero bike boss Alen Moradian six months ago has been arrested during an early morning raid.

Dut Deng, 24, was arrested by task force detectives at a home in Fairfield Heights in Sydney’s south-west shortly before 4am on Wednesday.

He has been charged with five crimes, including murder, drug and firearms-related offenses, and participation in a criminal group.

Deng was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court later on Wednesday.

Police will argue in court that Deng was the shooter in the alleged murder of Moradian, 48, at Bondi Junction, in Sydney‘s eastern suburbs on June 27 last year.

Deng was one of three men arrested overnight by strike force detectives in a major operation as part of Task Force Magnus.

Six men have now been charged over the murder of drug lord Alen Moradian (pictured) in an underground car park at Bondi Junction in Sydney’s eastern suburbs last June.

Seven hours earlier on Tuesday evening, police raided a house in Macquarie Park in the city’s north-west, where they reportedly seized 1.5kg of cocaine, 900g of methamphetamine and a pistol with 23 rounds of ammunition.

One man, 27, was charged with eight firearms and drug-related offenses and participation in a criminal group.

A second man, 28, was charged with drug-related offenses and participation in a criminal group.

Both men will also face Parramatta Local Court later on Wednesday.

Six men have now been arrested in connection with Moradian’s death.

Taskforce Magnus detectives will provide more details about the overnight arrests later on Wednesday.
