The loved ones of a woman who died in a horror accident on Queensland’s Bruce Highway have paid tribute to the “hard-working” alpaca breeder who was described as the “rock” of her family.

Alpaca farmer Jessica Townley, 38, was killed Friday morning in a three-car accident near Federal, just north of the Sunshine Coast.

Gypsy Satterley, 25, and a 65-year-old man were also killed in another car.

Mrs Satterley was in a relationship with 25-year-old Rafferty Rolfe, the only survivor who has now been charged with robbery.

Mrs. Townley’s friends have one GoFundMe page and paid tribute to the loving fiancée and stepmother.

“Jess was so special and meant so much to them, she was their rock,” said friend Kelly Goodwin, who initiated the fundraiser.

“Jess worked hard and didn’t stop until the sun went down. She would always smile and get happier every day.’

By Sunday afternoon, the fundraiser had raised more than $13,000.

“I’m so sorry Troy, Montana and TJ. Jess was so beautiful inside and out. We are all thinking of you at school and are here for support,” said one well-wisher.

In a statement, police claimed one of the cars “pursued a man and a woman in another vehicle” just before 4 a.m. on Friday.

While driving northbound, the man “tried to ram into the victim’s car,” causing both vehicles to cross onto the wrong side of the road, Queensland police claimed.

“There was a collision between those two cars and a third southbound car driven by a 38-year-old woman,” police said.

Mr Rolfe was pulled from one of the cars and has been charged with a charge of violent robbery while armed.

Police have alleged that he stole a woman’s Isuzu MU-X with a knife at Gympie on Thursday.

He is due to appear before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday.
