Owners of Amazon Fire TV Sticks can unlock 300 live channels for free with the app

MILLIONS of Amazon Fire TV Stick owners could be missing out on hundreds of free live channels.

Streaming services are becoming more expensive as subscription prices rise, but there are plenty of apps that are free television.

Plex is one of those apps that lets you watch TV for free in exchange for watching ads.

According to Plex, you can enjoy more than 600 live TV channels.

And the service also promises more than 50,000 movies and TV shows on demand.

The Plex app can be downloaded directly from the Amazon app store and costs nothing to install or enjoy.

If you didn’t know Plex offered free TV, that’s not a huge surprise.

Plex started life as a way to set up your own “media servers” so you could stream your own video files to a TV or computer, like a personal Netflix.

But in 2019, Plex started offering free TV channels and on-demand content.

The app scores a 4/5 on Amazon based on more than 210,000 customer reviews.

And 59% of those reviews had a five-star rating, while another 13% gave four stars.

One Fire TV fan who gave it five stars judgement wrote: “Great app for all supported devices. I couldn’t live without this app on all my devices.”
