ASDA shoppers rushed to snap up a “beautiful” 12-piece dining set that scanned for £6.

The sets are part of the Stacey Solomon range and are exclusive to the retailer's George Home brand.

One savvy shopper who bought a few sets posted the deal on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

The post included a photo of two dinner sets and read: “Asda Folkestone, one set £12, the other £6.”

People rushed to comment on the deal with one person saying: “OMG I need it”.

Another said: “I'll try to come over tomorrow.”

While a third person said: “Love the Stacey set.”

If you're considering heading to your local Asda to pick up one of these sets, please note that the offer isn't guaranteed to apply in all stores.

We checked on the Asda website and although the “At Home with Stacey Solomon” 12-piece dining set is showing for £6.25, it is out of stock online.

There are other 12 piece sets available in the range, but these are currently on sale online for £35.

Asda has a selection of dining sets on its website, ranging from £10. Also note that the selection in stores may differ from what is online.
