At least eleven dead in massive explosion at fireworks factory, explosion felt 16 kilometers away and dozens injured in India – The Sun

AT LEAST ten people have been killed and another 80 injured after a massive explosion at a fireworks factory.

The terrifying incident took place at the factory in Harda district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, when towers of flames engulfed the building.

According to reports, dozens of ambulances were deployed almost immediately, while army helicopters were also deployed.

An employee at the Harda district factory said: “We can confirm seven deaths so far.

“65 injured people have been admitted here and ten others have been referred to major hospitals.”
