Bachelor in Paradise’s Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isichei are engaged

Aaron Bryant And Eliza Isichei‘s love story will continue afterwards Bachelor in paradise when the two got engaged during the Season 9 finale on Thursday, December 7.

“From your beautiful skin to your elegant walk and my favorite smile, I love everything about you Eliza. You are the most beautiful part of paradise for me. I know I have these feelings for you because I pay attention to every little thing you do,” Aaron, 30, told Eliza, 27, before getting down on one knee. “We have been through so much. Couples shouldn’t have to put up with that, honestly, but we have found a way to choose each other and choose to trust each other. I am so happy that I am now here with you and can also talk about the future.”

Aaron revealed that he spoke to Eliza’s mother before proposing.

“She is very proud of you, she thinks about you most of all. You really have amazing parents, and I’m so happy and grateful to be here,” he continued. ‘I can’t believe you’re standing in front of me, you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. Aaron and Eliza appeared Charity Lawson‘s season of The bachelorette earlier this year and Clayton Echard‘s 2022 season of The Bachelor, respectively, before it launched in Mexico. The couple connected early in the process, but they then endured a bump in the road Cat Izzo informed Eliza that Charity had warned her about Aaron before filming paradise began.

Charity then stopped by the beach during a November episode to explain to Eliza that her phone was “bombarded with all these messages” from Aaron’s ex-girlfriend when she returned from The bachelorette.

“[His ex] Not only did she message me a million times, she messaged my family members, she messaged my friends,” Charity continued. “So basically her message to me was that they were dating before he left for my season, and he never really told her what the plan was for him to leave.”

Despite sharing her concerns, Charity assured Eliza that Aaron’s ex’s claims were “not what I saw” when I dated him, adding: “I like to say he has good intentions.”

Charity also believed that Aaron and Eliza could withstand the ordeal. “I think you can make it,” she said. “It will probably require some difficult conversations.”

After Charity and Eliza’s conversation, Aaron told Charity his side of the story. “We broke up last August. I haven’t spoken to her since,” he claimed about his ex. He also denied having two girlfriends when he moved on The bachelorette.

When Aaron told Eliza that his “disgruntled ex” was “shooting a lot of untrue things” at Charity, Eliza agreed to “take it easy” with him while they continued their romance on the beach. “If we want to do this, we have to communicate and talk and be on the same page,” she said. ‘I heard you. I believe you.”

While Aaron’s past caused problems for him and Eliza during season 9, she experienced her fair share of drama when she found herself in a love triangle.
