When you’re heading to a new place that you haven’t explored before, you hope there’s a handy sign somewhere to help you find it.
But sometimes road and location signs aren’t so helpful – and in some cases they can leave you with more questions than answers.
People on various social media platforms from around the world have been sharing signs they’ve seen that have left people completely baffled.
The photos have been collected in a gallery by Cheezburger – and they’re sure to leave everyone else just as confused.
An example of such a sign in the US, on a cow-milking farm, left visitors baffled when it advertised ‘two people’ for the bargain price of five dollars, but it seemed as if it was telling people were, and not cows, that were milked.

Meanwhile, into a bakery PerthAustralia, assured its customers that they would be happy to ‘serve from behind’ – in an unintentional double meaning that is not safe for work.
Elsewhere, a terrifying sign Japangot lost in the translation and stated that the building had “no exit.”
Another person spotted a stop sign that vegans had embellished with the words ‘eat animals’ below the word ‘stop’ – before a meat-eater added another response sign saying ‘without barbecue sauce’.

Another person saw a traffic stop sign that had been vandalized by animal rights activists who wanted to spread their message by adding “eating animals.” However, their efforts were thwarted when a meat eater added another message to the board, encouraging people to eat meat and add barbecue sauce to their meals.
