B&M shoppers rush to buy 'crazy price' toy scanning for £1 instead of £50
SHOPPERS are rushing to B&M for an iconic toy that can only be scanned at an insanely low price for a limited time.
The bargain store is currently selling Lego's City Barn and Animals box set for just £1.
An eagle-eyed shopper took to discount site hotukdeals to share the news and low price, much to the delight of Lego fans.
One user wrote: “Might as well give them away. Crazy price!”
A second said: “Jelly, great find.”
While another simply added: “Bargain!”
The bargain hunter said they found the Lego set in a B&M store in Cardiff on February 5, but added that they thought it would only be there while stocks last.
The user said: “I think this is old stock so I wouldn't make a special trip to b and m
“But it's worth checking if you're in the store anyway.”
For the saving of £49 it's definitely worth looking in any B&M store – not just in Cardiff.
B&M stores across the UK currently have a range of items selling for less than a pound.
One customer was able to buy a pair of Bluetooth headphones for just 10p, a drastic reduction from the initially priced £15.
While another customer was shocked to discover that a set of three tables that had previously cost £50 now scanned for just £1.
Other B&M shoppers have revealed how they are saving hundreds of pounds by using the store's free barcode scanner.
This handy little tool allows customers to see if the actual price of the item is cheaper than the price advertised on the shelves.
Best of all, the app is completely free to use: all you need to do is download the B&M app.
Sam Penney, who runs the Facebook group B&M Scanner And Other Bargains, told The Sun how she gets incredible items for just 10p.
Sam said: “Look out for two sets of bedding, exactly the same, but one with a £20 sticker and the other costs £19.99 – often one set will be hugely reduced and the other full price.”
Sam previously discovered that duvet sets have been reduced from £20 to just 10p.
In the past she has also managed to buy a window vacuum cleaner for just €1, simply because B&M had changed the packaging and had to clear out the old stock.
