A SAVVY woman has been showered with praise after showing off the shed she transformed into a 'beautiful' little home for her family.

Carly, who lives in Kentucky, US, explained how she bought a 16 x 40 square meter shed and set out to turn it into a stylish new home – and people can't believe it has three bedrooms.

In the clip posted to TikTok (@athomewith_theyorks), she starts by showing the interior of the property, complete with a modern wooden floor and an open-plan kitchen/living room.

While the living room features a cozy L-shaped blue sofa, wood-burning stove and wooden coffee table with scalloped edge, the kitchen has all the amenities any family needs, including oven, refrigerator and sink.

Carly then heads to the first of the three bedrooms, which feels light and airy and has space-saving bunk beds for her two sons.

The second room also has a cleverly designed bed, a high single bed with plenty of storage underneath.

Then there is the final master bedroom, which is large enough for a double bed, chest of drawers and a cupboard containing the washing machine.

And last but not least, the fresh white bathroom with navy accents has a sink, toilet and bath/shower.

It didn't take long for the post to go viral, racking up a whopping 817,000 views and hundreds of comments from very impressed social media users.

“It's 3 bedrooms!! That's great!” praised one.

“You have a beautiful house on a beautiful estate. You should be so proud!” a second commented.

A third enthused: “Beautiful house, you made such good use of the 60 square meters.”

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “I love love love this!! This is my dream. How much did the house cost in total? If I may ask.”

Another commented: “I love your house!!! It's beautiful!!!”

In a second videoCarly responded to social media users asking for a breakdown of the costs.

She explains that when she bought the vacant land, it had no water, no electricity and no septic tank, which meant they had to put all that in there.

She says that while the electricity and water cost a total of around $1,000 (£793) each, the septic tank set her back a whopping $8,000 (£6,346).

Carly adds that they opted for a repo booth which cost around $16,000 (£12,693), while a brand new one usually cost around $20,000 (£15,867), and that it cost them around $12,000 (£9,520) to finish – adding that they had bought everything apart from the interior doors.

“In the end it was about $28,000 (£22,213) just for the house itself and then $38,000 (£30,147) when you add in the septic, water and electricity,” she concludes.
